On 27 March, Knights Court had the joy of celebrating a truly special milestone - Bronislawa’s 100th birthday. Known affectionately as Broni, she was surrounded by love throughout the day, made even more meaningful as her beloved niece flew in from abroad to be with her. Family, friends and relatives visited during the celebrations, adding to the warmth and excitement of the occasion.

The Merlin Lounge was beautifully decorated for the event, and residents and staff gathered together for a heartfelt celebration.
Moments like this truly bring our community together.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks for the radio birthday greeting requested through the More Portal. The greeting was played in both Polish and English, and the inclusion of a Polish song specially chosen for Broni was deeply appreciated by the her, her family, and our staff.

Thank you all for helping us make this milestone celebration so meaningful.

Christmas Day at Knights Court!

We had a truly magical Christmas celebrating with our wonderful residents, families, and friends! The day was filled with festive cheer - fun games like Pass the Parcel, delicious cakes and drinks, and a beautiful Christmas lunch. Every resident received a special present, and the smiles said it all! 🎁

A big thank you to Camilo for bringing the magic of the season to our residents! He performed beautiful acappella Christmas carols, provided lyrics so everyone could sing along, and even visited residents in their rooms for personal serenades.

We’ve been getting creative and festive this holiday season! From designing Christmas jumpers to making beautiful baubles, fragrant pomanders, and mini wreaths, our residents have truly embraced the Christmas spirit.

🎄✨ Christmas Jumper Day Fun at Knights Court! ✨🎄

On the 9th of December our wonderful staff took part in a Christmas Jumper Competition, bringing festive cheer, colour, and lots of laughs to Knights Court! Our lovely residents had the difficult job of judging, and after much deliberation they awarded: 🏆 1st Place: Rita 🥈 2nd Place: Charley 🥉 3rd Place: Maria A huge well done to all who joined in - your creativity and Christmas spirit truly brightened everyone’s day!

Our home lit up with joy, colours, and culture as we celebrated the festival of lights.

Priya wowed us with her dance and got everyone moving in a lively workshop, while talented Indian staff dazzled in traditional attire and joined the dance floor. Those living with us crafted beautiful Diwali lamps, enjoyed delicious Indian sweets, and admired vibrant rangoli designs and glowing lights throughout the Avalon lounge. A celebration full of smiles, sparkle, and shared traditions.
