☀️ 🌧️ Not entirely sure why I always feel the need to comment on the weather but anyway… here is my new blog: How to choose an acupuncturist.

I think it’s a really important question. There are different approaches, training and specialisms, and finding someone you feel comfortable with and trust is just as important as finding someone with the right experience for you.

I’ve put together a little guide and checklist to help you know what to look for: from training and professional membership to the different styles of acupuncture and, importantly, finding someone who feels like the right fit for you.

💫 My practice is grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medical understanding. I also work alongside a trusted network of healthcare professionals, so if something sits outside my scope, you’ll always be in good hands.

I offer Discovery Calls and Taster Sessions - but what’s the difference?

✨ Discovery Calls
A free 20-minute (ish) call you can book online. It’s a chance to ask questions, see how acupuncture could help you, talk things through, and get a feel for how I work before booking a session.

✨ Taster Sessions
A 30-minute, in-person session for a small fee. This is perfect if you’d like to ask questions as well as experience acupuncture for yourself. If you’re unsure or nervous about needles, I’ll guide you through the process, explain everything, and help you feel at ease.

Why acupuncture? It’s not the most common profession (though it really should be 😉). There’s something very special about work that continues to teach you, even after years of practice. ✨ Every person who comes into my clinic brings a different story, and it’s a privilege - one I don’t take lightly - to support them on their own path towards better health.

Here’s why I personally love acupuncture. And if you’ve never tried it before or you’ve been quietly curious, this might be your sign to explore it.
