In just over a year, Esther’s Barchester journey has taken her from Deputy Manager to General Manager at Hurstwood View Care Home.

What started as a new chapter has become such a meaningful journey, where Esther has found she has been continuously encouraged to grow both personally and professionally.

As she looks ahead, Esther is excited to see what the next chapter brings at Barchester as she continues to grow as a leader and create a home where residents feel valued, cared for and truly at home 💚

The Barchester Chef Academy 🧑‍🍳

Our latest Chef Academy class are still busy learning new skills developing their confidence and creating delicious dishes for our residents to enjoy.

They’ve already been putting their learning into practice to make mealtimes even more enjoyable for our residents, with graduation coming up at the end of the year.

And looking at some of these dishes…wouldn’t you like to be sitting at the table? 😋🍽️

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Naomi but this time, it’s to say a very special goodbye.

After 20 years dedicated to Barchester, Naomi has retired from her role at Administrator at Meadowbeck Care Home 🎈

Thank you, Naomi, for everything you’ve given to Barchester over the past two decades. We hope retirement brings you plenty of time to relax, enjoy yourself and make lots of new memories.

Spades at the ready! 🚧👷

Ground has been broken on Camsfield Gardens Care Home, our newest luxury home coming to Fareham in early 2028.

Being built by Lawrence Baker Ltd, Camsfield Gardens will bring exceptional care to the local community, with plenty of luxury amenities for residents to make themselves truly at home.

We’re incredibly excited to add this new home to our portfolio and can’t wait to see it take shape over the coming months 💚
