ACE OF PENTACLES REVERSED

Hi gorgeous,

This card makes me think about missed opportunities. You know those ones where you look back and think, “Why the hell didn’t I take that?”

Could have been a job, a business idea, money, someone offering you help, or just a chance to start something new. But you hesitated, overthought it, waited too long or convinced yourself it wasnt the right time.

And then it was gone.

The Ace of Pentacles reversed can be about having something with real potential right in front of you, but not doing anything with it. And yes, sometimes there are good reasons. Fear, money, confidence, circumstances… life gets in the way.

But sometimes we just talk ourselves out of things. “I’ll do it when I’m ready.” “I’ll start next month.” “What if it doesn’t work?”

And before you know it, you’ve missed it.

So maybe this card is asking you to have a good look at what you’re being offered right now. Stop waiting for the perfect time because honestly, there isn’t one.

You don’t have to take every opportunity that comes your way, but don’t reject something just because you’re scared either.

You might regret the chances you didn’t take a lot more than the ones that didn’t work out.

Love M xx

5 DIFFICULT BUT REAL THINGS MEN NEED TO UNDERSTAND AFTER INFIDELITY

Hi gorgeous, let’s talk about infidelity.

It’s a very simple word for something that can absolutely friggin devastate a person. Even a strong, confident woman.

And then comes the classic:

“It was a mistake.”

“It was an accident.”

“I didn’t know what I was doing.”

Babe, an accident is when you trip and fall. An accident is when you put the wrong item through the self-checkout.

An accident is calling the wrong number.

But you didn’t accidentally find yourself naked with another person tripping and falling on top of them.

You made a series of choices. You texted. You flirted. You arranged. You lied. You met. You crossed a boundary.

And if it happened repeatedly, it wasn’t one mistake. It was a pattern of decisions.

At some point, you need to stop looking for a softer word to describe what you did.

1. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY

Let’s be brutally honest. You knew what you were doing. You knew you had a wife, partner, whatever the relationship was. You knew you had a family. You knew someone was at home waiting for you.

And somewhere in the middle of all those choices, you temporarily put yourself before everyone else.

You had your or**sm.

And in that moment, you threw everything else out of the window. Your wife might have been sitting at home wondering “Where is he?” “Did he have an accident?” “Is he okay? “Has he eaten?” “Why hasn’t he called?”

Meanwhile, you were making choices that could potentially destroy the life you had built together.

You forgot about the children waiting for Dad.
You forgot about the dog sitting at the door waiting patiently for you to come home. You forgot about the person who trusted you.

And this is where accountability begins.

Not:
“She wasn’t giving me enough attention.”
“I was drunk.” “She came onto me.” “It just happened.”

It didn’t just happen.

Own it. You did it.

And until you can say that without a fu***ng BUT attached to it, you aren’t taking accountability.

2. APOLOGISE DEEPLY AND MEANINGFULLY

“I’m sorry.”

And then:

“But…”

No. That’s not an apology.

“I’m sorry, but we weren’t happy.”

“I’m sorry, but I was lonely.”

“I’m sorry, but she understood me.”

That’s an explanation. An apology means acknowledging the damage you caused without immediately trying to make yourself feel better about it.

Flowers are not an apology. Dinner is not an apology. A holiday isn’t an apology.

S*x isn’t an apology.

An apology is sitting with the discomfort of knowing you hurt someone you claimed to love. It’s understanding that they don’t have to forgive you simply because you’ve finally said sorry.

And sometimes, a meaningful apology takes time.

You need to understand what you’ve done before you can genuinely understand what you’re apologising for.

3. MAKE AN EFFORT — AND HELP HER FIND HERSELF AGAIN

If you want to rebuild this, you need to prove through your actions that you genuinely want to rebuild it.

Not for two weeks. Not until the tears stop. Not until she stops asking questions.

Consistently.

Because your infidelity may have damaged more than the relationship.

It may have damaged the way she sees herself.

She may be asking:

“Was I not attractive enough?”

“Was I not s*xy enough?”

“Was the s*x not good enough?”

“Why wasn’t I good enough?”

And slowly, she can switch off from herself. She can stop feeling beautiful. Stop feeling desirable. Stop feeling valued. Stop feeling seen.

So if you want to stay, understand that you aren’t just rebuilding the relationship.

She’s rebuilding herself too.

Make her feel seen.

Make her feel loved.

Make her feel valued.

Tell her what you love about her.

Tell her what you admire.

Tell her what still attracts you.

Touch her without expecting s*x.

Notice her.

Listen to her.

Pursue her.

Make her feel like your woman, your world, your priority, not your housemate.

But here’s the important bit:

Do not fake it. Don’t suddenly perform affection because you’re frightened of losing her.

If you don’t genuinely feel love, desire and depth for her, don’t pretend. She will eventually feel the difference.

If you genuinely love her, show her. If you genuinely desire her, show her. If you genuinely want her, show her.

And then keep showing her.

Because trust isn’t rebuilt through one grand gesture. It’s rebuilt through hundreds of small, consistent actions.

4. DECIDE WHY YOU WANT TO STAY

Ask yourself:

Why do I want to stay? Not why does she want me to stay. Not because you don’t want to be in the divorced men’s club. Not because of the house. Not because of the children. Not because you don’t want to be alone.

Why do YOU want this woman?

Because if you’re staying for the wrong reasons, you’re not actually fixing anything. And eventually, you may find yourself looking outside the relationship again. This is where serial cheating can begin.

You stay because it’s comfortable. You haven’t dealt with what’s missing.

You haven’t been honest with yourself. And instead of having the difficult conversation, you look elsewhere for excitement, intimacy, validation or attention.

So have the conversation.

“I don’t feel connected anymore.”

“I feel like we’ve become roommates.”

“I don’t feel intimate with you.”

“I don’t feel attracted anymore.”

These conversations are fu***ng difficult. But perhaps she feels the same. Perhaps you can work on it. Perhaps you can go to counselling. Perhaps you can rediscover each other.

And perhaps you realise that the relationship has genuinely come to an end.

That’s painful. But it’s honest. And your partner deserves the truth so she can make decisions about her own life.

Because she may be sitting there trying to save the marriage while believing you are doing the same. She deserves to know where you actually stand.

The truth hurts. But lies steal someone’s ability to choose.

5. GIVE HER THE TRUTH

And this one is probably the hardest.

Who was it?

What happened?

How long did it happen?

Why did it happen?

What did you tell her?

How did you feel?

Your partner may need answers.

And no, that doesn’t mean deliberately giving graphic details that serve no purpose.

It means being honest. Because if you keep drip feeding the truth, every new discovery becomes another betrayal.

First it’s:

“There was nothing.”

Then:

“Okay, there was a kiss.”

Then:

“Okay, we messaged.”

Then:

“Okay, we met.”

Then:

“Okay, it happened more than once.”

And suddenly your wife isn’t your partner anymore.

She’s Nancy fu***ng Drew. Checking phones.
Checking timestamps. Looking at social media.
Remembering where you were. Wondering whether that work trip was actually a work trip.

Trying to piece together a life because the person she trusted has given her a version of the truth that keeps changing.

That’s exhausting. And it destroys peace. So if you genuinely want to rebuild this relationship:

Stop making her investigate her own marriage.

Give her the truth. Have the uncomfortable conversations. Answer the questions. Listen to the anger. Listen to the hurt.

Don’t get irritated because she’s asking something you’ve already answered.

She’s trying to understand something that has completely fu**ed with her perception of reality.

And closure doesn’t necessarily mean forgiveness. It doesn’t necessarily mean staying together.

Closure means having enough truth to understand what happened and make an informed decision about what happens next.

Because ultimately, these five things come down to one word

ACCOUNTABILITY.

Own what you did. Apologise without excuses.
Put in the work. Be honest about whether you actually want the relationship. And if you do, give your partner the truth she needs to decide whether she can trust you again. You cannot rebuild trust with half-truths. You cannot rebuild intimacy with lies.

And you cannot ask someone to believe you while you’re still protecting yourself from the truth.

If you want to save the relationship, stop protecting your comfort and start protecting the person you said you loved.

And if you don’t want the relationship anymore Have the fu***ng courage to say so.

Because sometimes the most honest thing you can do for someone you once loved is to stop wasting their time.

And if you’re sitting in the middle of all of this and you don’t know what to do next, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Sometimes you need an honest, completely non-judgemental conversation with someone outside the relationship.

If you need clarity, perspective or simply somewhere to say the things you can’t say out loud, DM Melissa at Mystic Sisters to book a private session.

No judgement.

Just an honest conversation about where you are, what you want and what happens next.

Sometimes the truth is uncomfortable. But it’s where the healing starts.

Love.

Okay, last week I had a client and wait. I had 3 clients and I feel an intervention needs to be had. It was relating to the same thing. Your intuition is not wrong.Your attachment is just louder. You already KNOW. You just keep asking the universe for a different answer.

Stop pulling cards. Stop stalking their socials.
Stop looking for signs.

The sign is that you’re still wanting to fix someone who has no interest in being fixed. They see nothing broken. They see no issue. They see you as the issue.

Trust yourself, babe.
The cards are not the problem. Your denial is.

CARD OF THE DAY: EIGHT OF PENTACLES
Hello gorgeous,

So today we have the Eight of Pentacles, and this is telling you to focus.

You’re worrying too much about how things are going, whether you’re getting there fast enough, whether the timing is right… and I think some of you are putting way too much pressure on yourselves. You feel like time is running out.It isn’t. You’re just getting impatient.

The Eight of Pentacles is basically saying: stop looking around and get on with your own s**t.

Focus on what you’re doing. Focus on what you’re building. Focus on getting better at what you do.

And please stop comparing yourself to everyone else.

You don’t know what’s happening behind their perfectly filtered Instagram life anyway. If you’re working towards something, keep working towards it. If you’re manifesting something, let the energy do its bloody job. And if you’re worried about what other people think of you?

Focus on your or**sm, not their opinion. 😂

You cannot control what other people think. You CAN control where you put your attention.

So today, bring that attention back to YOU.

Love
M xx 😘

Message to my clients.

Sometimes you want to smack me. I’m not perfect. I know I annoy you when you insist on doing something and I say not to. You get pi**ed off with me when you are breaking and insist on returning to what broke you and I call you out on it.

But deep down I love you.

People pleasing.

Life becomes so much simpler when we stop explaining ourselves and just do what works for us.

So often we think what people will think. We step into the people pleasing mode. We step away from the self caring mode. We focus solely on how the person will feel or react.

This is your life. There is no need to constantly feel a need to explain yourself. We stress over things and people that sometimes become so insignificant in our lives.

Each time we do this we are taking our power away and putting it in the bin.

If you want to wear a short dress, wear it. If you want to have a relationship with someone, do it. You do not have to explain and make excuses for why you are choosing to do things. You are doing it because it is your life and you have that power.

Love M 😘

Hi Mel,

I’m fairly convinced my mother-in-law has Mars in Interfering House, because every time she visits she reorganises my kitchen and dining room while I am at work. ‘for better energy flow’ and then critiques how my house is in the same breath. Is there an actual astrological explanation for relatives who confuse unsolicited advice with intuition? And more importantly, is there a tarot card for ‘please let me run my own kitchen in peace’? My husband says just let it go because she means no harm.

A frustrated wife.

Hi lovely,

It sounds like your mother in law’s “energy flow” mission is really about her needing to feel needed, and your husband saying “let it go” is doing absolutely nothing for your blood pressure, so let’s pull a card that actually speaks to this, the Seven of Wands, and my darling this card is basically shouting “stand your ground” at you, it’s the card of defending your territory when someone keeps pushing into your space, it shows a figure holding their position against others trying to climb up and take what’s theirs, and that is exactly what’s happening in your kitchen and dining room while you’re out at work earning a living, this isn’t about bad energy or feng shui it’s about boundaries, the Seven of Wands says you are allowed to hold your ground even with family, even with someone who “means no harm”

In her head she has normalized this behaviour and sees nothing wrong with what she says. This is your time to explain that you love her good intentions but you prefer your home the way it is. You are allowed to feel invaded in your own home and you don’t need Mars or Mercury to explain it, you just need a calm clear conversation. This conversation would be best had not at the moment that she has rearranged your home but when you are calm and able to navigate points.

Sometimes interference comes from a place of feeling needed.

With your husband when you speak to him remind him that every time he says let it go, you do not feel backed up. You feel like you have to handle his mum alone in your house. This does not strengthen partnership. If you feel yourself holding your breathe or rehearsing conversations on your head this means boundaries have been breached.

Lastly remind her you love having her there and you want her to relax. If she is bored, you can drop her at the mall or somewhere to spend the day whilst you are at work.

Love M.

Your card of the day.

25/06/2026

Hi gorgeous,

Today I was speaking to a client who kept choosing someone who didn’t know how to choose her, and every reason she gave me for staying sounded so logical, he’s got a lot going on, he’s stressed, he’s not good at expressing his feelings, he loves me in his own way, maybe, but here’s what I gently asked her, how many more excuses are you willing to make for someone who keeps showing you exactly where you stand, because the truth is sometimes we don’t stay because we’re trapped, we stay because we love them, because we remember who they were, because we keep hoping they’ll become who we need them to be, because choosing ourselves feels more painful than choosing someone who keeps disappointing us, and that’s where this song was born, “I Chose You, But You Chose Her” is for every woman who has lain awake wondering why she isn’t being loved the way she deserves, for every woman who made herself smaller, quieter, more understanding, more patient, for every woman who kept choosing someone who stopped choosing her, and one of the most powerful things I’ve ever said during a reading is this, you keep asking the Universe to choose him, when the Universe is begging you to choose yourself, read that again, healing isn’t about getting the apology, sometimes it isn’t about being chosen, sometimes healing is looking in the mirror and saying I choose me, not once, not when it’s easy, every single damn day, and if this song touches something in your heart, know that you’re not alone Love M xx
