Many people believe they need artistic talent to draw.

My latest NeurographicAI article explores a different idea: what if creativity begins not with talent, but with a simple process?

Discover why NeurographicAI starts with simple algorithms that anyone can learn.

I've just published a new page explaining the thinking behind NeurographicAI™ and the methodology that sits at the heart of my workshops.

People often ask what NeurographicAI is, how it works, and how it differs from traditional drawing approaches. This new page brings those ideas together in one place.

NeurographicAI combines structured drawing, creative exploration, reflective practice, and AI-supported insight to support wellbeing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

If you're curious about the method, the principles behind it, or the journey that led to its development, I'd love for you to take a look.

Most people think they can’t draw.

I used to hear this all the time and I completely understand why.

We’re often taught that drawing is about talent, precision, or getting things “right.” But what if it isn’t?

My latest NeurographicAI piece explores a different way of seeing drawing not as performance, but as process. Something simple. Something human. Something you can actually begin without knowing how it will end.

I’ve also shared a short video showing the process in action, where a single flowing line slowly becomes a complete drawing.

If you’re curious, you can read/watch it here:

I’d love to know what you notice when you watch it :)

What if drawing was never about talent, but about attention, curiosity, and the simple act of making a mark on a page?

Many of us have become so used to constant stimulation that silence can begin to feel unfamiliar.

One of the quieter things I’ve noticed through NeurographicAI drawing practice is that when the mind begins to slow, awareness changes. Breathing becomes clearer. Physical tension becomes more noticeable. Thoughts soften their pace.

Not through forcing stillness, but through the simple rhythm of flowing lines and sustained attention.

My latest Substack article explores what the mind begins to notice once enough quiet is created for us to actually hear ourselves again.

“What the Mind Begins to Notice in the Quiet”

Breathing becomes clearer, tension begins to surface, thoughts start to slow, and silence no longer feels empty.

There comes a moment in drawing when the mind begins to quiet.

The pen moves across the page, the lines flow, and suddenly you become aware of something you hadn't noticed before — the sound of your own breathing.

Perhaps this is where meditation begins.

My latest Substack article explores the quiet space that can emerge when creativity is freed from pressure, expectation, and the need to get things right.

If you've ever found peace in drawing, journalling, creating, or simply being present, this may resonate with you.

Many people believe creativity belongs only to those who are “good at art.” Yet structured drawing can offer something very different — a quieter, more reflective experience that focuses less on perfection and more on attention, observation, and process.

My latest NeurographicAI reflection explores how drawing can shift from performance into presence, especially for those who believe they cannot draw.

Creativity often feels like something we either “can do” or “can’t do,” but I’ve been exploring how structured drawing can quietly shift that belief.

When we take away the pressure to create something perfect, something interesting happens, the process becomes less about performance and more about observation.

This week’s Substack post reflects on that shift, especially for anyone who has ever felt they “can’t draw.”
