On Friday we celebrated an outstanding achievement! 🌟

Last week, we came together for our Summer Operations Day, a chance to celebrate, reflect and reconnect as a team.

We're incredibly proud to share that we received an Outstanding rating in our recent external quality audit by Fulcrum. This fantastic achievement is a testament to the dedication, professionalism and hard work of our incredible teams across the business!

To celebrate, we took a slightly different approach to our ops day. Our Care Managers paired up with colleagues they don't usually work with and headed out into the sunshine with a coffee voucher to spend some time getting to know one another, sharing ideas and building stronger connections. They later came back together to reflect on what they'd learned and how we can continue to work even better as one team.

We also held our Summer Awards, recognising each of our Care Managers for the unique strengths they bring to the business, before treating everyone to a well-deserved summer goodie bag.

It's always important to celebrate success, but it's equally important to make time to strengthen the relationships that help us deliver exceptional care every day. 💙

Heatwaves can be especially dangerous for older adults 🌞

As temperatures rise, let's look out for the seniors in our families and communities.

💧 Encourage them to drink plenty of water, even if they don't feel thirsty.
🏠 Keep their home cool by closing curtains during the hottest part of the day.
🧢 Avoid going outside between 11am and 3pm if possible.
👕 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.
📞 A quick phone call or visit can make all the difference - check they're safe, comfortable, and have everything they need.

Small acts of kindness can help prevent heat-related illness and could even save a life.

This , we're celebrating the incredible people who make a difference every day through compassion, dedication and genuine human connection ❤️

In our latest blog, one of our experienced carers shares their journey in care and reflects on the rewarding relationships they've built over more than 30 years of supporting clients in their own homes. Their story is a reminder that great care is about much more than practical support ~ it's about trust, understanding and helping people live life on their own terms.

As Carers Week 2026 highlights the importance of building carer-friendly communities, we'd like to thank all carers for the vital role they play in supporting individuals, families and communities across the UK.
