Endolift is one of my favourite treatments — and there is a reason for that.

For me, it’s not just another “skin tightening” procedure. It is a very precise, anatomy-driven treatment.

We are working with a fine laser fibre underneath the skin, which allows us to target specific areas depending on the patient’s anatomy-where we want tightening, where we want tissue contraction, and where we may want some remodelling of the superficial fat.

What I really love about Endolift is that it doesn’t rely only on an immediate mechanical effect.

The laser energy creates controlled thermal stimulation within the tissues, triggering biological processes including collagen remodelling and neocollagenesis. So the treatment continues to work after the procedure, as the tissues gradually reorganise and tighten.

That is why I always plan Endolift anatomically rather than following the same pattern on every face.

Ptosis after anti-wrinkle injections is not always the same complication.

Behind one word, there can be completely different clinical situations:
• “Mephisto” brow
• brow ptosis
• true upper eyelid ptosis

And each of them has a different cause, different anatomy, and different correction strategy.

That is why the most important step is not to “treat ptosis” in general, but to understand exactly which type of ptosis you are seeing.

5 years. 5 lip filler treatments. No dissolving.

This patient first came to me in 2021, before having any lip filler.

Over the following five years, we treated her lips approximately five times — gradually adding and maintaining volume rather than trying to create a completely different shape.

And this is something I think is important to show.

Lip filler doesn’t necessarily need to be dissolved and restarted every few years.

When the anatomy is respected, the right amount of product is used and filler is placed appropriately, we can simply maintain a beautiful result over time.

2021 → 2026:

• More volume, but still her lips
• Natural proportions maintained
• Definition preserved
• No obvious filler migration
• Never dissolved

The goal of good lip filler isn’t to make each treatment noticeable.

It’s to look at the lips years later and still recognise the anatomy we started with.

Why do we treat the full face rather than concentrating only on the jawline?

Because facial lifting is not about tightening one isolated area. It is about creating a global tightening effect across the face.

By treating multiple areas and working at different depths, we can create lifting vectors throughout the upper, mid and lower face. These vectors work together, producing an overall shift and tightening of the tissues rather than simply trying to sharpen the jawline from below.

This is why a full-face approach can create a more balanced and natural result: better midface support, improved facial contours and a cleaner, more defined lower face.

Before every Ultraformer MPT treatment, we perform an ultrasound scan of the face to assess individual anatomy, tissue thickness and underlying structures. This helps us plan the treatment more precisely and select the appropriate depths for different areas.

AT 39 — From a Woman to Women.
Part II: Finding Your Centre.

The second part of a series of thoughts I wrote around my 39th birthday — about the people we surround ourselves with, where we place our attention, and why, as women, we sometimes need to bring that attention back to ourselves.

Not to become selfish.
But to build a life that still belongs to us.

Because we all have our small galaxies.
And sometimes we forget to tend to our own.

Before anti-wrinkle injections, we always check the anatomy of the muscles.

How? We ask our patients to lift their eyebrows, frown and squint their eyes.

Muscle movement helps us see the individual outline and activity of each muscle — and this is particularly important when treating the frontalis (forehead) muscle.

Why? Because treating the wrong area, depth or pattern can affect eyebrow position and potentially make the brows feel or look heavier.

This patient has one of the anatomical variations of the frontalis, with a lifting lower portion and a depressing upper portion.

So instead of following a standard injection pattern, we adapted the placement to her individual muscle anatomy and distributed the injections across the appropriate upper areas.

And here you can see her 2-week result: softened lines, preserved expression and completely natural movement — without over-freezing the forehead.
