A throwback to June 2026 at the Med-Tech Innovation Expo, NEC Birmingham, UK.

Compared with some of the larger exhibitions I’ve attended in Asia, this was a more focused and specialised event. Many stands centred on robotics and medical device innovation, technology and regulatory solutions, with greater emphasis on industry expertise rather than extensive product displays and samples.

A different exhibition experience, but valuable in its own way.

It was a pleasure meeting the team at INTCO Medical during the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shanghai. Events like CMEF provide an incredible opportunity to connect directly with global manufacturers, discover the latest medical technologies, and explore strategic partnerships that can strengthen healthcare systems across Africa and beyond.

As we continue expanding our international sourcing network, I’m excited about collaborating with manufacturers committed to quality, innovation, and accessibility.

The Canton Fair is one of the biggest and most impressive trade exhibitions I’ve ever attended. I was there in April and I’m already looking forward to the Autumn Canton Fair this October in Guangzhou, China.

If you’re serious about business, I highly recommend visiting China and connecting directly with suppliers across different industries. The opportunities are endless & you won’t regret it.

New Delhi reminded me why India is known as the Pharmacy of the World. 🇮🇳

Attending CPHI was an incredible opportunity to connect with pharmaceutical innovators and explore partnerships that can improve access to affordable, high-quality medicines across Africa and beyond.
