There’s a couple of funny stories about Lululemon that date back to when I was just a loyal customer. My journal from 2019, manifesting a collab with Lululemon. My PT jokingly encouraging me to push through another set so I would become the next Lululemon model. Even when a friend hinted at me being their next Ambassador, the penny didn’t drop until Westfield “proposed”.

As I wind up my 2nd year as Ambassador of this brand that I live and breathe, quite literally from head to toe, I loved looking back at all the opportunities, the inspiring people, the workshops, the Ambassador Connect, the campaigns, my first half marathon.

Someone asked me “why don’t you try for another brand?” and my answer was quite simply “I wouldn’t want to work for another brand!”.

Thank you to the team that onboarded me back in 2023, to the ambassadors I’ve met along the way and to the teams I have worked with from store to head office!

Today after teaching, I basked in the slowness of my own practice and recognised once again a response to my needs and to my body’s request for tuning in and turning the dial down.

I practice with my eyes closed when the movements are slow and I let the body marinate. The richness of conversation with the body when one of the senses is masked is palpable. And vision is one that can often distract you. Eyes closed and the angelic voice of Chantress Seba transporting me miles away from the not so peaceful gym beats in the background. I was off, somewhere else far far away.

Have been exploring the idea of loneliness which has come up during my first somatic therapy session. My meditation this morning gifted me this gold: loneliness is the midwife to the birth of our wholeness.

I signed up for my first half marathon last year and when I am asked whether I would do it again, my immediate answer is no or at least not this year!

My body didn’t take on so well the physical stress and challenge of this “new” activity, I was putting it through but I persevered and learnt more about my body.

If there is one thing I was immensely thankful for was my yoga toolbox. It saved my hip flexors and helped my knees which were probably the part of my body which was hit the hardest. I relieved my lower back and kept my glutes, hamstrings and calves happy.

The benefits of dipping into yoga regularly was also the attention to breath and how to regulate it, as well as the meditative and restorative aspects of the practice.

When I was asked if I would like to offer this course, I jumped to the opportunity as I know exactly what runners’ needs are. I have experienced it on my body!

Starting 8th Feb for 8 Saturdays at 5:45pm, join the Yoga for Runners course. Anyone signing up for it, will be receiving a giveaway as they are generously supporting my course.

No previous yoga experience needed and this is suitable for anyone preparing for a running event or just running for pleasure.

Everything is figuratable. Finding a way of doing it better is wisdom and a sign of self-love. There isn’t a storm you can’t weather if you graciously accept the help and love of your dear ones. There is abundance and meaning in the everyday, in the simple, in the always there. Accept there are seasons in life, situations, relationships, work and we are not meant to always frolic in comfort. Trust we are built to withstand these seasons.

Let through what brings you light, wisdom, love, friendship, strength and decide what doesn’t and leave it behind. Love to you all.

My Babymoon Masterclass is returning for its 3rd edition Saturday 14 December 2:30-4:30pm at Triyoga Ealing. We will be working on breathing, mindfulness, gentle movements and restorative poses. We will connect through a women’s circle and hold space for each other in a meaningful way which I believe expectant moms really need at this time in their lives.

This full immersion in the practice of slowing down and connecting with our bodies and our babies, will be kindly supported by Lululemon. The goodie bag will have some really useful giveaways.

Link to book is in mio bio.

A year and half in and I still have to pinch myself sometimes. Together We Grow Ambassador connect. A sea of humans in my favourite colour connecting, sharing, watering seeds of inspiration, moving, cheering each other on.

I’ve said this before, the power of manifesting is real. I wrote on my journal 6 years ago, that I wanted to collaborate with . Little did I know, this dream would bring such an amazing community into my life.

I also manifested who led us into movement with power and grace, like I believe only he can 🙏🏼.

Thank you to Europe’s biggest and most gorgeous movement studio .e1 for holding us all in the beautiful .e1.

And thank you for capturing the beauty of it all.

I teach in studios, privately, corporate and at events.

Is movement or the constant need for it, a form of addiction? If you ask me it has been at times, but when I’m on my mat it feels different. I wonder why I don’t do it more often, for myself (teaching doesn’t count!), for my sanity. I still surprise myself, realising how better it makes me feel, instantly, a few salutations in. And I am past the need to do the advanced version of, the bind, the deeper. I go for the effective, functional, simple but done well, simple that feels good.

When it hits me, it does it hard and then I remind myself that I should do it more often because there is nothing wrong with being addicted to something that regulates you, that tones your energy to an equanimous state of mind and gives you a bit more life.
