Here's something we hear a lot from patients: "I just figured this elbow pain was part of getting older."

But here's the thing, the elbow doesn't wear out on its own the way a hip or knee can. When elbow arthritis shows up, it's usually the result of years of repetitive strain, think lifting, gripping, throwing, or repetitive work tasks, catching up with you.

So if you've got stiffness, aching, or trouble fully straightening your arm, it's not "just age." It's often a pattern your elbow has been dealing with for years, and it's very treatable.

If you're struggling to carry groceries, open jars, or fully straighten your arm without pain, send us a DM. Let's get to the root of it πŸ‘‡

Elbow pain every time you play tennis? 🎾πŸ”₯

It's probably NOT your elbow. Tight forearms and wrists are usually the culprit β€” stretch these out and watch the pain fade. Save this for your next warm-up πŸ‘‡

Spent forever blaming everything except your forearm? Turns out, tennis elbow has nothing to do with tennis for most people. Here's what's actually causing it πŸ‘‡

That burning pain when you grip, lift, or twist? It feels like its inside the elbow joint, but it's often caused by the tendons in your forearm becoming overloaded over time. These tendons attach at the elbow, so that's where the pain shows up. The elbow is just the messenger.

The good news? With the right rehab and gradual strengthening, those tissues can recover and become more resilient.

Did you know pelvic girdle pain (PGP) affects up to 1 in 5 pregnant women, yet so many are told to just rest and wait it out?
Here's what the research actually says: a randomised clinical trial (Stuge et al., 2004) found that women who followed a specific stabilising exercise programme guided by a physiotherapist had 68% reporting minimal pain at 2 years postpartum, compared to just 23% in the control group.

You deserve to feel supported during your pregnancy, not just told to push through. PGP is common, but suffering in silence doesn't have to be part of your journey. The right care, at the right time, really does make a difference. 🀍

Did you know a "weak" pelvic floor and a "tight" pelvic floor can cause completely opposite problems, but get mixed up all the time?
Underactive (weak): leaking when you cough, sneeze, or jump. Common after pregnancy or menopause.
Overactive (tight): pain during s*x, trouble starting your wee, or constipation because the muscles won't relax.
Same area, opposite issue, opposite fix. One needs strengthening, the other needs relaxation and down-training. Doing the wrong one can actually make things worse.
If you're not sure which is yours, a pelvic health physio assessment can find out.πŸ‘‡
