Che Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness I’m a yoga teacher and Ayurveda therapist with many years of experience supporting people in improving their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

My holistic approach that recognises the deep connection between body, mind and lifestyle. My name is Geny Caloisi and I believe that through Yoga and Ayurveda we are able to achieve our highest potential and live a long, healthy and happy life. For this reason I am an Ayurveda practitioner and consultant. I am also a Yoga teacher, which gives me a great understanding of the body and its work. After practising Yoga and meditation since my early 20’s, I decided to become a Yoga teacher, learning from the source. I took my yoga teacher training in India in 2012. My master, Lalit Kumar, was initiated by Swami Veda Bharti the disciple of His Holiness Swami Rama of the Himalayas. As part of my Yoga Teaching training I was introduced to Ayurveda and the science fascinated me. In 2015 I decided to study Ayurveda Diet and Life Style and Ayurveda Therapies with Dr Deepa Apté at the Ayurveda Pura academy.

What an incredible weekend of learning with Jack Raven Bushcraft in Kent, working towards my IOL Bushcraft qualification. 🌿🔥

It was exciting, challenging and, at times, hard work!

We learned how to make fire using a fire drill, safely use a knife, identify trees and understand the different qualities and uses of their wood, build a shelter, and even make cordage from stinging nettles.

There was so much more to it than I expected. What really surprised me was discovering how much you can learn with the right technique, patience and practice. Things that at first seem completely impossible slowly become achievable.

And there’s something very empowering about learning skills that connect you so directly with the natural world, and that one day could potentially make a real difference in a survival situation.

A challenging weekend, a lot of new skills, plenty of muddy hands… and a whole new appreciation for what nature provides. 🌳🔥🌿

Yoga, nature, swimming, sunshine, delicious food… and a little bit of partying! 🌿☀️

My yoga retreats in Dalyan, Turkey are about so much more than yoga.

We practise, slow down and connect with the incredible nature around us. We swim in waters that are sometimes fresh, sometimes salty, and sometimes wonderfully warm. There are thermal and mud baths, beautiful places to explore, and a magnificent boat trip where we eat, swim, relax and sail through the stunning Dalyan landscape.

And then there’s the food. Local, fresh, generous and very special. 🍋🫒

There’s plenty of time to relax and be quiet, but also plenty of laughter, good company and, yes… a bit of dancing and partying! 💃

A week to move, breathe, swim, explore, eat, laugh and enjoy life.

Music, laughter and good company are waiting at the Ringway Centre!

I'll be at the Open Mic Night this evening, Thursday, 13 August, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Join me to sing, play, perform or simply come along to enjoy the talent and support our local performers.

Can’t make it? You have a change next week with the Singalong Music Night Evening takes place the following Thursday, 20 August, at the same time and place.

Come along to Open Mic Night tomorrow, 13 August, or join us for a relaxed Singalong Evening on 20 August. Both events run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Ringway Centre.

So much gratitude to all the brave yogis who joined me on Saturday. 🌿🧘‍♀️

It takes a little courage to step outside your usual yoga space and practise in nature, especially when you don’t quite know what the day will bring!

Thank you for trusting me, for embracing the walking, the yoga, the fresh air, the little challenges and, most importantly, for bringing your lovely energy and smiles.

I loved sharing this experience with you all. These are the moments that remind me why I love teaching yoga. ❤️

Games for a Laugh at the Ringway Centre, organised by , is definitely one not to miss! It’s a lovely opportunity to get together with other people from the community, have some fun and enjoy a relaxed evening of games and good company.

There’ll be darts, table tennis, board games and card games, plus free tea or coffee and some nibbles. And all of this for just £5!
