As a midwife I come across all the crazy names but what if your baby name is misheard or misunderstood?! Perhaps autocorrect changed it and you sent it out as an incorrect announcement?! Comment below with your baby name mishaps!

Always supervise your baby during tummy time.
Always place your baby on their back to sleep.
Pick up your baby if they start to cry and try again at another time.

You can imagine how many crazy names I’ve come across in my career including: Gizmo, twins called Thunder & Lightening, Hunter & Ryder, Saline (pronounced Celine but she’d looked at her drip and spelt it Saline!), Anakin (surname Walker!), a Mum called Angel who gave birth to a Halo…. Oh yes there are more. But I love this animation from which depicts surely the craziest name out there??!

Ditch the cute baby shoes. Let your babies learn through touch. Expose their feet to different senses. wahoo.... a nappy bill!!!
