The Health and Care Professions Council Set up to protect the public, we are a UK-wide regulator of 15 health and care professions.

We currently regulate 15 professions:
arts therapists, biomedical scientists, chiropodists / podiatrists, clinical scientists, dietitians, hearing aid dispensers, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, paramedics, physiotherapists, practitioner psychologists, prosthetists / orthotists, radiographers as well as and speech and language therapists.

It means better data platforms, website improvements, a new customer contact centre - and improvements for us internally, so we can better protect the public.
