I’ve just had the privilege of being interviewed by Charlie Haynes for BBC Breakfast showing tomorrow Tue 16th Feb about our latest research on effects of Covid-19 lockdown on

Please look out for our new paper published in BMJ reporting on Charles Bonnet Syndrome! This study along with & the great work of Esme's Umbrella Awareness Campaign for Charles Bonnet Syndrome and other sight loss charities Macular Society, RNIB, Fight for Sight and Retina UK are greatly helping to raise awareness of . Think sight loss, think CBS- we must inform our patients!

Over 50% of CBS patients had increased hallucinations, more disturbing content with fear/anxiety during the lockdown. Social isolation was the main trigger.

Big thanks to Lee Jones, Lara Ditzel-Finn & Judith Potts

I’m constantly fascinated by my field of medicine. The human is mind boggling- just a single molecular letter spelling mistake amongst 3 billion of our genetic code can lead to such debilitating diseases. My is tackle this & find treatments for my patients!
