What a summer it’s been, yoga teachers! 🧘‍♀️ I’ve found myself being a student in more ways than one.

A season of nourishing my own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing by exploring new practices from reformer at YMCAfit - Fitness industry training to weights with Blue Ridge Yoga Knoxville, and discovering just how therapeutic being outdoors can be while teaching an incredible retreat at Wild View Retreat in the Algarve. I’m hoping to finish off the summer fun with an outdoor class of Surrey Souls. 😍

But perhaps my biggest lesson has been the importance of trusting our own bodies.

Listening deeply and trusting what we hear.

As teachers, we’re here to guide, not control. To offer possibilities, not dictate how someone *should* feel or move, because ultimately, the practice belongs to the student.

A little reminder that being a yoga teacher will always mean being a student first.
