Last year, the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) and Galderma UK announced the launch of the Galderma Early Career Research Award, a grant created to support early-career research in dermatology. This grant will fund and recognise outstanding early career researchers working to advance understanding in atopic dermatitis (AD) and nodular prurigo (NP).
At last week's 106th BAD Annual Meeting in Manchester, the inaugural recipients of the awards were announced, marking an important milestone for the initiative.
Congratulations to this year's award recipients:
•Dr Cherry Choudhary, recipient of the Galderma Early Career Research Award for research in AD, working with A-STAR.
•Dr Radhika Patel, recipient of the Galderma Early Career Research Award for research in NP, awarded through the BAD Research Sub-Committee.
The British Association of Dermatologists and Galderma UK share a commitment to supporting research excellence in dermatology. Through initiatives such as the Galderma Early Career Research Award, we are investing in researchers whose work has the potential to improve our understanding of skin disease and shape the future of dermatology.
