Celebrate International Yoga Day!

Free Guided Meditation & Yoga Class
This Sunday 21st June 8-9.30/45am

If you love Yoga like me, and you have benefitted from your practice, then join me (Emma Brown ) this coming Sunday morning for a group meditation and yoga class
to celebrate the official 12th International Yoga Day.

International Yoga Day was originally established by president Modi in India in 2015 to celebrate this more than 5000 year old science that has helped so many people find good health, peace of mind and inner happiness. Definitely the day to take out your yoga mat and/or sit for some meditation practice to honour and give thanks to this amazing science that has helped so many.

To celebrate, I will run an online meditation for peace from 8-8.30am followed by a yoga class from 8.30-9.30/45am. You are all welcome to join for just the meditation, just the yoga class or the whole event. The more the merrier. It is free and open to all. Everyone is welcome!

It will be lovely to see you all there and celebrate Yoga together.

Starting a new term of Saturday classes tomorrow, in the Sanctuary studio on Ashgrove Road, Bromley, from 9.30 - 11am.

The term includes 7 Saturdays, 3rd, 10th and 24th May, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th June.

Special Weekend Programme with Prem Sadasivananda.
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April at the Deva Yoga Studio, Chislehurst, Bromley

Join us for this weekend of inspiration with the very special Prem Sadasivananda.

Prem was my ( Emma Brown ) first ever teacher from the Sivananda tradition and I cannot express highly enough what inspiration he gave me on my own personal spiritual path. He is a source of wisdom, love and joy, a very talented musician and a dedicated practitioner, guide and teacher.

He has touched so many hearts with his warm and funny personality and we are very honoured to welcome him to Bromley for the first time for this weekend of workshops and satsangs.

Prem will also be leading a 5 day retreat in our retreat venue Casa Santosha Spain from the 3-8 May 2025. Full details on this can be found by clicking here.

Both days will take place at the Deva yoga studio in Chislehurst, Bromley. There is some local free parking around but best to leave plenty of time to find a place.

Vegan Cooking Class
This Saturday 18th January 2025 1-4.30pm

Our fun informal vegetarian/vegan cooking classes give you an opportunity to try inspiring wholesome healthy foods, meet new people, and learn more about the effects of our diet on both our body, mind and mood. Also great for anyone stuck in a food rut, and anyone interested in healthy eating in general – there’s no need to be vegetarian to attend, in fact, many who come aren’t.

Included within the price is a delicious 5-6 course meal and all recipes from the dishes served – great value at only £40.

Taught by myself - Emma, who is an ayurvedic health/diet consultant and nutritionist and passionate about delicious healthy food, and has been a vegetarian for more than 30 years. I was inspired to start these classes as a way to introduce people to the many benefits I had experienced myself by eating simple, wholesome vegetarian food made with love.
