Returning to work or school after the holidays can feel more emotional than we expect.
Even when we’re looking forward to getting back into our routine, there can be a sense of loss as slower mornings, time with loved ones, travel or simply more space suddenly come to an end.
The answer isn’t to force yourself back into “normal” overnight.
Instead, give yourself a softer landing. 🌿
✨ Notice what you’re feeling, without judging it.
✨ Reconnect gently with your routine.
✨ Lower the pressure to be immediately productive.
✨ Make space for rest, movement and moments of stillness.
✨ Remember what gives your work and everyday life meaning.
✨ Create small rituals that help you feel grounded.
✨ Be patient with yourself as you adjust.
A transition is not something you have to rush through.
It can be an opportunity to pause, realign and choose how you want to step into the next chapter.
You don’t have to return as the person you were before the holidays. You can return with greater awareness of what you need.
If this transition feels difficult, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I offer mindfulness, wellbeing and transformational coaching to support you through periods of change and help you create more clarity, balance and meaningful change.
