Greens are win-win—rich in nitrates and a good source of potassium. Nitrates from green leafy veggies are converted to nitric oxide in the body, and potassium increases nitric oxide release. We can improve our artery function within minutes of consuming greens.

Nitric oxide from vegetable nitrates not only improves oxygen efficiency, but also oxygen delivery by vasodilation of blood vessels—that is, by opening up our arteries so there’s more blood flow. This effect may be beneficial for athletes (to improve their performance), as well as people with high blood pressure and peripheral artery disease.

The British Chiropractic Association recent research showed that 56% of British people feel put off seeing their GP because of NHS waiting list times and over half (52%) have lived with an MSK issue for longer than 12-months. As a result, 53% are considering turning to private healthcare for MSK to help manage pain.
