Thank you WestLondonChambers for the mention in the latest Let’s Talk Business magazine.

We really enjoy working with Discover Fulham to provide regular Emergency First Aid Training for businesses in and around Fulham Broadway. Wow – great to know we’ve hit 250 participants.

And to hear a life was saved potentially by the training is great to hear. That’s what it’s all about.

Learning the basics like how to use a defibrillator and EpiPen, giving CPR and other fundamentals is something more businesses should strive to provide their employees. Want to know more, get in touch!

I was walking down High Road and delighted when confronted by BOTH a defibrillator AND a bleed control kit on either side side of the nationwide bank !

Great positioning half way down the high street and for all the Sunday markets 😊

Well done to Nationwide & Visa for taking the initiative. Chiswick thanks you (and we do too!)!

Great to see this story on ChiswickW4.com. Congratulations to the neighbours in Rusthall Avenue, here is Chiswick, who raised the money to install a new on Eridge Road.

It just shows you what a bit of tenacity will do.

Just look at those stats. In the UK more than 30k out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur and 80% happen at home. Fewer than 1 in 10 people survive. CPR and a defibrillator could literally be the difference between life and death! So knowing you have one nearby is vital.

Defibrillators are so easy to use and a recorded voice in the box will guide you. It never hurts though to do a life-saving skills course – something we can organise for you.

This is a good news story. Well done to the people of Rusthall Avenue. Hope we see more defibrillators around Chiswick soon.

The UK has some of the highest prevalence rates of allergic conditions in the World with over 20% of the population affected. And, a staggering 44% of British adults suffer from at least one allergy as do 10% of children.

Benedict’s Law now requires all schools to keep spare Adrenaline Auto Injectors (EpiPen is a brand) and for all staff to be trained in allergy awareness. This was a voluntary opt-in for schools.

We think this should be rolled out to all restaurants, airlines, trains etc where minutes matter !

Read up a little more about Benedict’s Law. As they say, change is coming because of them!

Repost Benedict Blythe Foundation Today is a day we have worked towards for years.

Following Benedict’s death, we promised him — and we promised ourselves — that we would fight for change so no other family would have to stand where we stood.

Today, the Department for Education has launched the statutory consultation on Supporting Children with Medical Conditions and Allergy. It delivers the core elements of Benedict’s Law and requires all schools to have: spare allergy pens in schools, allergy training for staff, clear allergy policies and Individual Healthcare Plans.

Benedict’s Law exists because of our son. It exists because of the questions we had to ask. It exists because we refused to accept that uncertainty and inconsistency were good enough.

Benedict was brave, kind and full of life. He would have hated the idea of another child being left unsafe. We are incredibly proud that his name now stands for clearer standards and stronger protection for others.

This moment belongs to all of you as well. To the families who shared your stories. To the clinicians and teachers who spoke up. To everyone who signed, wrote, supported and stood with us.

We have done this for you. For every child with allergies. For every parent who sends their child to school and hopes they will be safe.

This consultation is an important step forward — and we will continue to see it through.

Because of Benedict’s Law, change is happening.

These are not good stats. Almost 50% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests here in the UK are witnessed by a bystander but less than 10% survive ?

Make that number go up - learn and save a life. It's easier than you think - and we can help train you!

Repost Resuscitation Council UK Headed to a festival or event this summer?

Whilst medical teams are often on site, at a large event ground, they could still be minutes away. If someone has a sudden cardiac arrest in a packed crowd or far from help, your actions could make all the difference.

Learning CPR takes just one hour with our interactive online tool, Lifesaver. Head to our link in bio to play today.

This is a really good, valuable watch. So much to unpack in a few minutes.

The first few minutes are THE most important for cardiac arrest and major bleeding . And all explained very clearly.

There is also a section on why women are often less likely to receive CPR in an emergency – something we’re passionate about changing.

Please take a few minutes to watch and learn more about how to save a life!

Repost Did you know women are less likely to receive CPR in an emergency? Dr Kiran explains why and how help in the first few minutes can be vital.

We recently posted about the need to do more to get women the CPR help they need. Female manikins should become more prevalent so hats off to Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service for leading the way!

Repost A fire service in England is using a bespoke female CPR manikin to help "reduce hesitation in people delivering emergency care to women".

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service's prevention team hopes the new equipment will help "save lives".

It will also offer training to show how to deliver chest compressions and where to correctly place defibrillator pads on breasts, as well as how to cut off bras.

The fire service said research from St John Ambulance showed that a third of British people were "afraid to give CPR to a woman because they are worried about touching breasts".

We 100% back the campaign to install Defibrillators in Police cars across the country. What a huge difference that would make and we know it would save countless lives.

Please back the campaign. To bring it home to Chiswick, helped fund the defib outside O2 shop on Chiswick High Road. Amazing. Thank you so much for all you are doing!

Read their story - back their campaigns!! 🙏

Repost I’m sorry it’s taken me a while to share, but we’ve been inundated with so many positive calls, messages and emails, alongside all your lovely tags from our appearance on with Susanna and Ed this morning. They were fantastic, as always and their support is amazing for our campaigns.

We’ve already been contacted by 2 new police’s forces, who would like to talk with us about defibrillators for their fleet of vehicles and this is such a great outcome, to happen so quickly after our TV interview.

The hard work really must keep going..our British Empire Medal is truly special to all of Jamie’s team and I was honoured to receive it, but our campaigns for accessible defibrillators, Police vehicle defibrillators and Jamie’s Law are always our absolute priority and we have to keep going and fight harder than ever, for Jamie! No family should ever have to go through this complete devastation, because of the lack of a defibrillator. As always, we are so grateful for your support and kindness.
Jamie should just be here..Our hero and inspiration in every second of everyday 💙🩵💙

We are now rethinking our models for our courses. While Annie does a great job for us, Susan may just pip her for personality.

Thanks for sharing with us You made our day. Shame you didn’t get to the defibrillator bit but almost perfect 😊
