Not all suspicious moles look suspicious. That is what makes them dangerous.

In this video, Dr. Bela shares three real cases where a mole had already been assessed elsewhere and given the all clear. On proper dermoscopic examination, the picture looked different.

Melanoma is not always obvious to the naked eye to confirm or rule it out.
If you suspect a mole has changed, or something about it does not feel right, get it properly examined.
