In-Deep Music Therapy

In-Deep Music Therapy In-Deep runs free music therapy groups for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 3-25.

Sessions are on the second Saturday of each month (in person in London SW1) and the fourth Saturday of each month (online via Zoom).

What did students write their songs about in preparation to their performance at the West London Inclusive Arts Festival at the Royal Albert Hall last month?

In Deep has been going to Orminston Queensmill Academy and doing songwriting with them. The students wrote songs about being a teenager, singing about hopes, dreams and friendships. They also sang about being a teenager in love and about teenager problems.

During their performance, they had everyone on their feet. We were really proud of them.

The West London Inclusive Arts Festival took place last month at the Royal Albert Hall. Students from Orminston Queensmill Academy performed amazing original songs they had prepared with In Deep. They wrote these wonderful thank you letters to In Deep's Emily, with whom they did songwriting - we want to thank them back for their amazing art and thank everyone who made the festival possible.

During their performance, the students had everyone on their feet with their songs about being a teenager, singing about hopes, dreams and friendships. They also sang about being a teenager in love and about teenager problems. We were really proud of them.

🎵📣💫 Students' amazing original song performance last week at the West London Inclusive Art Festival at the Royal Albert Hall.

Sing, move, and grow together at our monthly music therapy session at Millbank on Saturday 13th of June. 🎤💫

These sessions are designed for children and young people with SEND.

Our expert therapists can adapt to your child’s needs with ease and kindness, and our volunteers are on hand to support - we look forward to seeing you there!

📍Where: Millbank Academy (SW1P 4HR)

🕦When: 11:30am - 12.20pm session is suitable for ages 3-10

🕐 1:00pm - 2:00pm sessions are for ages 11-18 and 19-30
