Couples where one of you has ADHD — how do you actually divide the mental load?
Asking because we're stuck. I'm the non-ADHD partner. Things get forgotten. I remind. They feel nagged. I feel exhausted from being the only one tracking everything. We've talked it through a dozen times and we both know what's happening, but no app or system has worked for more than two weeks.
Specifically curious:
Do you split chores by category, by day, or just whoever notices first?
Has any app ever actually helped — or did it become another thing to maintain?
What would the dream tool look like? (No wrong answers, including "doesn't exist.")
Trying to figure out if what we're going through is universal or just us. Either answer is useful.
