Tracy, our Funeral Arranger in Forest Hill, was recently invited to the open day at Westwood House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare. Not wanting to arrive empty-handed, she brought along jigsaws for the residents to enjoy as part of our Puzzle Swap.

Thank you to everyone at Westwood House for such a warm welcome, and for inviting us back to spend more time with residents and staff. We can't wait to return to talk about the support we provide and have those all-important conversations about planning ahead and funeral wishes.

A lovely afternoon at the All Saints Belvedere Summer Fayre.

Gemma from our Constable & Toop team spent the day alongside the church and Community Hospice . Cakes on one table, hand-knitted bears and baby clothes on another, and plenty of good conversation in between.

Three parts of the same community, raising funds and awareness for the hospice and the church. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, baked, knitted, or dropped something in the bucket.

The 1st New Cross Scouts have been collecting for Lewisham Foodbank .

Recently, they brought their donations to Constable & Toop in Forest Hill. All of it on its way to people who need it.

A glimpse of the gardens at Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice , where Gemma spent time recently. Calm, green, and full of light.

Gemma, our Funeral Arranger here at Constable & Toop in Belvedere, recently spent the morning with Rhea and Faye at Community Hospice .

The hospice cares for thousands of people across Greenwich and Bexley every year, at home and at the hospice itself in Abbey Wood. The place feels calm. Trees, light, gardens.

It was a good conversation about ways we could work together and look out for the people in our community. A lot of it builds on what we already do through Never Alone , our free community programme.

Early days, but a good start. Thank you to Rhea, Faye, and the team for the warm welcome.
