There is sooo much more to yoga than moving your body around on a yoga mat! Sooo much philosophy, lineage, ethical practices, so much letting go and looking in. I am constantly constantly learning more- there’s sooo much!
I love the stories of the gurus and gods and Ganesha is my absolute favourite- he is the REMOVER OF OBSTACLES - I have little ganeshas all over my house! I love the idea that you can send a thought out into the universe to “please remove this obstacle for me” it’s our thoughts that keep putting up the obstacles- when you recognise that - Ganesha comes in and gives you a helping hand. Ganesha is definitely in my tool box to help me regulate. When I was in India all the dashboards of taxis had little Ganesha altars- I just love the thinking behind that. 💛 what obstacles get in your way?
