issues. Our clinic at West Middlesex Hospital has held the coveted Charter Mark award for excellence in public service for the past 10 years. The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for London and South East England until 25 June.

Temperatures are rising, and a heat-health alert remains in place until 11pm on 26 June, with conditions expected to reach the early to mid-30s°C.

There are a number of steps we can follow to remain safe and comfortable. This includes staying hydrated, keeping indoor areas cool by closing blinds and windows where appropriate, avoiding peak heat hours, and supporting vulnerable patients.

This week, NHSE shared the amazing news that cervical cancer deaths in younger women have plummeted in England following the rollout of the HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine. Now, for the first time, no women in their early 20’s have died from cervical cancer in a five year period.

The HPV vaccine is recommended for children aged 12 to 13 years old and people at higher risk from HPV.
