Breaking up long spells of desk work with rest breaks is fundamental for physical wellbeing. Aim for at least 5 minutes every hour and longer breaks of 15 minutes every 2-3 hours.

A cost-effective, efficient video desk assessments by trained and experienced assessors. Using a combination of measurements, photographs and video call, our experienced DSE assessors will give training and suggests improvements to help employees feel as comfortable and productive as possible when working from home or any other environment.

The discs in your spinal column are composed mostly of water. In order for the discs to function properly, they must be well hydrated.⁠⠀⁠⠀

💦 Eat fruits and vegetables⁠⠀
💦 Gradually drink water throughout the day⁠⠀
💦 Drink more water when you exercise or if you are in a hot climate⁠⠀

Static postures can be uncomfortable over long periods. ❌

A couple of times a day, take your laptop to a higher surface, like a kitchen worktop (even an ironing board!) and stand for up to 20 minutes at a time.
