Blithe Yoga is a welcoming, community-led not-for-profit dedicated to making yoga and holistic wellbeing accessible to all.

We currently opperate in Stratford in East London and Fishponds in Bristol. Come as you are - there’s always space for you here. BLITHE YOGA was founded by Lexi Elven in 2016. Lexi has been practicing yoga since 2003 after coming to the UK from Hong Kong and needing a discipline to compliment her martial arts and dance foundation. Through this love of mental focus as well as the joy of movement her classes combine strong asanas (postures) with an energetic and playful
spirit. As a musician with a keen interest in pranayama and philosophy, she focuses on how the mind and body can benefit from sound-work and meditation. Blithe Yoga is currently based in Forest Gate, London

As a birthday treat I had a wonderful time learning about mushrooms yesterday with Steve England and a group of other keen learners. Finishing on an open fire lit with sparks over a King Alfred Cakes mushroom and enjoying some tasty pan fried mushrooms on toast.

Remembering this summer. First staycation consisting of; Brighton, Cornwall, London, local wild water weirs, camping, surfing, hot air balloons, pond restoration, preparing kitchen garden beds, and making a fire pit area outback. First summer without any holiday clubs (I’m proud I managed it!).

I’ve finally decided to start teaching in Bristol. It’s taken some time.

It’s hot. Muggy, still heat, kinda hot. The fruit in my fruit bowl is going off so I like to turn them into a refreshing sweet fruit tea. There’s always iced tea in this house.
