☀️🌿 Embracing the Summer Solstice: A Moment to Pause, Reflect & Recharge 🌿☀️

On 21st June, we celebrate the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year and a beautiful reminder of the power of nature’s rhythms.

As daylight reaches its peak, it’s the perfect opportunity to pause and check in with yourself. In our busy lives, we often focus on what’s next, but the Solstice invites us to acknowledge how far we’ve already come.

Take a moment to reflect:

✨ What achievements are you proud of so far this year?
✨ What healthy habits have supported your wellbeing?
✨ What would you like to nurture and grow during the months ahead?

The longer days encourage us to spend more time outdoors, reconnect with nature, and prioritise activities that support both our physical and emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s a mindful walk, sharing time with loved ones, enjoying nourishing foods, or simply sitting quietly in the sunshine, small moments of self-care can have a profound impact on our overall health.

The Summer Solstice is not just about celebrating the light around us, but also recognising the strength, resilience, and light within ourselves.

As we move into the second half of the year, may you make space for rest, joy, balance, and the things that truly support your wellbeing.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and sun-filled Solstice. ☀️💛

“You take a lot of supplements.”

It’s something I hear quite often.

And I can understand why people might think that when they see me sharing different products and brands. But the reality is, I actually don’t take as many supplements as you might imagine.

I have a handful of core staples that I take daily, and beyond that, I tailor what I use depending on what’s going on in my life, my health goals and how I’m feeling at the time.

One of the biggest lessons van life has taught me is that less really can be more.

When you live in a van, space is limited. There simply isn’t room for cupboards full of products, gadgets and “just in case” purchases. Everything has to earn its place.

The same applies to my wellness routine.

I focus first on the foundations: nourishing food, movement, sleep, fresh air, stress management and meaningful connections. Supplements are exactly that — supplements. They support the foundations; they don’t replace them.

I’m always curious and open to trying new things, especially if there’s good evidence behind them. But if something doesn’t work for me, it doesn’t stay.

When I share products with you, it’s never because I’m trying to collect supplements or promote the latest trend. It’s because I’ve personally used them, found value in them and negotiated discounts so that if you’re curious, you can try them too.

What van life has really highlighted for me is how little we actually need to be happy.

Less clutter.
Less stuff.
Less consumption.

More experiences.
More freedom.
More health.

Because at the end of the day, the greatest investment I can make isn’t in more possessions — it’s in my health and my future health.

Without that, everything else becomes much harder to enjoy.

✨🌿 Moon Ritual Guide | 6th June 2026 | Embracing the 6/6 Energy 🌿✨

Today offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and reflect on all that is unfolding in your life.

Many people associate the 6/6 date with themes of love, compassion, harmony, healing, and emotional wellbeing. Whether or not you follow numerology, it can serve as a gentle reminder to nurture yourself, open your heart, and create space for the things that truly matter.

🌙 Theme of the Day: Balance • Self-Care • Gratitude • Growth

Take a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Growth isn’t always about doing more—it can also be about allowing yourself to rest, receive support, and appreciate the present moment.

🌿 Simple Wellbeing Ritual

✨ Light a candle or enjoy a calming herbal tea.

✨ Take a few slow, mindful breaths.

✨ Write down three things you’re grateful for today.

✨ Reflect on one area of your life where you’d like to invite more joy, ease, or balance.

✨ Spend a few moments visualising yourself feeling healthy, happy, and at peace.

✨ Finish by thanking yourself for showing up and caring for your wellbeing.

💫 Affirmations for Today

✨ I am worthy of love, care, and compassion.

✨ I honour my journey and celebrate my progress.

✨ I welcome more balance and ease into my life.

✨ I trust myself and the path I am on.

✨ I release what no longer serves my wellbeing.

✨ I am open to joy, abundance, and new possibilities.

🌙 Remember, wellbeing isn’t about perfection. It’s about small daily choices that help you feel more connected, grounded, and aligned with yourself.

💜 What is one thing you’re doing today to support your wellbeing?

These lovely surprises arrived today! 🎉

As I’m now in my late 40s, I’ve become increasingly interested in healthy ageing, longevity and what I can do to support my body at a cellular level so I can stay healthy, active and vibrant for as long as possible.

I recently took the longevity quiz from .life and was fascinated by the personalised recommendations it gave me.

Based on my results, they suggested:

✨ NMN – supports cellular energy production and healthy ageing

✨ Apigenin – a powerful antioxidant that may support brain health, relaxation and cellular resilience

✨ CaAKG – supports energy metabolism, cellular function and healthy ageing

✨ Fisetin – a plant compound being studied for its potential role in supporting cellular health and healthy ageing

I’ve started taking them this morning and I’m genuinely excited to see how I get on.

Now, I’m fully aware that no supplement replaces the foundations of good health — nutritious food, movement, sleep, stress management and meaningful connections will always come first. But if there are ways to support those foundations and age well, I’m always keen to learn more.

I’ll be sharing my experience over the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned for updates.

Today’s view ☀️🌿
The beautiful Torti Estate… what a place to work from.

Working on some really exciting things behind the scenes that will be coming very soon, so stay tuned ✨

Sunshine, fresh air, delicious fresh apricot juice, and plenty of time to relax and recharge. After all the travelling and work on the van, this is exactly what we needed 🚐💛

One of the best things about is the freedom — not having to rush anywhere, taking our time, and fully enjoying the places we stay. This will always be one of our favourite spots to stop and unwind 🌾🍑

Hope you are all managing to stay cool in this heatwave! Sending love from Italy 🇮🇹☀️

After two beautiful days travelling through the breathtaking Auvergne region of France and winding our way through the majestic Alps, today we finally arrived at the stunning Torti Wines Estate in Montecalvo Versiggia, Lombardy, Italy 🇮🇹✨

And what a welcome… the hospitality here is always so incredibly warm and heartfelt. There is something truly special about this place — the rolling vineyards, the peaceful scenery, the family atmosphere and the feeling of complete relaxation the moment you arrive. 🍇🌿

I’m honestly not a big drinker, but I always make an exception for . Their Pinot Nero wines are renowned for containing particularly high levels of resveratrol — a powerful natural antioxidant found in grape skins.

Resveratrol has been widely studied for its potential health benefits, including:
✨ Supporting heart health
✨ Helping reduce inflammation
✨ Protecting cells from oxidative stress
✨ Supporting healthy ageing
✨ Potentially benefiting circulation and brain health

Of course, balance and moderation are key, but it’s fascinating to learn how certain traditional wines, especially those rich in Pinot Nero grapes, may contain these naturally occurring protective compounds. 🍷

If you ever find yourself in Northern Italy, visiting the Torti vineyard is such a beautiful experience — incredible scenery, wonderful people and exceptional wines. And if you’d like to explore their wines from home, you can visit their website here:

Salute to slow travel, beautiful landscapes, heartfelt hospitality and the joy of making memories along the way ❤️🍷✨

So we arrived in Europe last week in Osito 🚐☀️

It has been lovely so far and we’ve stayed in some beautiful places already — Sailly-Flibeaucourt, Les Andelys, Le Bois du Puits Jardin Botanique, Gites De La Richardiere, and then a few lovely days with the folks in Beynac-et-Cazenac ❤️

The weather has gradually improved after the biblical hailstorms before we left the UK and thunderstorms last weekend in France… and now the sun is finally shining and it is HOT HOT HOT 🔥

Luckily we have good air con in the van and the local produce here is incredible, so we’ve been keeping hydrated with lots of watermelon, peaches, apricots and the most delicious strawberries 🍓🍑🍉

We were due to head off to our next destination last night but unfortunately a bit of food poisoning from a new restaurant we tried has meant we’re staying put for another day or so 🤢

Food poisoning in this heat can be so dehydrating, so I was VERY grateful we had our Zooki electrolytes on board. They come in handy little travel sachets and contain a balanced blend of electrolytes including sodium, potassium and magnesium to help replenish hydration levels quickly. I also love that they include extras like L-glutamine and beetroot extract to support recovery and energy too. They’re sugar free, easy to travel with and honestly have been such a lifesaver in the van. 💧✨

Perfect not just for upset tums, but also for staying hydrated in hot weather, long travel days and after exercise too.

If you want to try them for yourself you can use my code LauraJones20 for 20% off sitewide 🤍

As a vegetarian, one of the questions I get asked most is…
“How can you take collagen if collagen comes from animals?” 👀

And it’s such a good question because technically — true collagen IS animal-derived. So vegan collagen works differently ✨

Instead of giving you animal collagen, vegan collagen supplements provide the nutrients, amino acids and cofactors your body needs to SUPPORT and stimulate its own natural collagen production.

This is why I personally love Raw Beauty Lab Vegan Collagen 🤍

What I love about their formula is that it’s not just a basic “beauty supplement”. It’s a really thoughtfully designed plant-based collagen builder using:
✨ amino acids found in human collagen
✨ vitamin C-rich superfoods
✨ antioxidants
✨ hyaluronic acid
✨ skin-supportive botanicals

Their Vollagen® complex contains key amino acids involved in collagen synthesis, helping support your body’s own collagen production naturally.

I also love that it supports more than just skin:
✨ joints & connective tissue
✨ hair & nails
✨ hydration
✨ recovery & healthy ageing

One thing I think is important to understand is that vegan collagen isn’t “fake collagen” — it simply works differently by helping YOUR body create collagen naturally rather than supplying animal-derived collagen directly.

Raw Beauty Lab is also:
🤍 100% vegan & cruelty-free
🤍 non-GMO
🤍 made in the UK
🤍 packed with antioxidant-rich superfoods

If you’ve been looking for a plant-based collagen option, I genuinely think this is one of the best formulations out there ✨
