On Sunday, residents enjoyed a lovely, relaxed day together at Smyth Lodge. ☀️

There was plenty of friendly competition with board games, family visits and refreshing chilled lemonade to keep everyone cool, and lots of smiles and laughter throughout the afternoon. 🍋♟️

Jim also spent time taking great care of our plants, helping to keep our gardens looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy. 🌿🌸

What a fantastic early evening in our cinema! ⚽🏴Goal-den moments Smyth Lodge care home

Some of the residents gathered to watch the England match on the big screen, creating a brilliant match-day atmosphere. With plenty of delicious snacks, refreshing beverages, and great company, everyone enjoyed cheering on the Three Lions together.

There were smiles, cheers, and lots of excitement as England secured a fantastic 2–1 victory! 🎉

It’s moments like these that bring everyone together and create wonderful memories.

Residents have had a wonderful time today taking part in a variety of fun activities! 🎉

From ball games to improve coordination, to a friendly game of carpet bowls, and putting their minds to the test with a game of Scrabble, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🏐🎳🔤 We also celebrated a birthday 🎂

These activities help keep both the body and mind active while encouraging laughter, teamwork, and great conversations. It’s always lovely to see so many smiling faces and everyone cheering each other on!

Well done to all residents for joining in and making it such a fun-filled day! ❤️

Today the residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon taking part in our very own Bowls Tournament!

There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and great sportsmanship throughout the event, with everyone enjoying the chance to get involved and cheer each other on.

A big thank you to Kerrie for organising such a fantastic activity and helping to make the day so enjoyable for everyone. Well done to all who took part! 😊

Everyone relaxed outdoors while enjoying cold drinks, refreshing ice lollies, and delicious ice cream. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and fresh air, helping residents stay cool and comfortable while socialising with friends and family 🍦🥤😊
