eeling the heat? ☀️💊
If you take antidepressants, hot weather can sometimes affect you differently. Some antidepressants may increase sweating, make it harder for your body to regulate temperature, or contribute to dehydration which can make heat feel more intense.
That doesn’t mean you should stop taking your medication. Instead, stay hydrated, keep cool, avoid prolonged time in extreme heat, and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you notice unusual symptoms or are worried about how your medication affects you in hot weather.
Know your medication. Know the signs. Stay cool. 💙
