Celebrating Mehmet's 94th birthday 🎂
We had a wonderful day marking this special milestone by taking Mehmet as requested to his favourite restaurant,🙏 Akusar where he enjoyed his beloved lamb shish -just the way he likes it. ❤️
To top it all off we raised a glass of red 🍷 wine and shared laughter , memories and love ❤️
Here's to Mehmet 94 years young 🌟

What a wonderful day celebrating D-Day at Lizzie Lodge!
We started with festivities with some fantastic karaoke, plenty of singing, laughter, and great company.
Then we were treated to a truly magical performance from the amazing D-Day Dollies who transported us back in time with their beautiful harmonies, vintage charm, and patriotic spirit.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special as we remembered and honoured those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Our Forget Me Not sessions bring residents together in small, friendly groups where everyone has the chance to connect, share memories , and enjoy 🙏 namaste and music therapy in our beautiful garden ♥️
These sessions are so important in helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, while encouraging friendships, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. Whether it's reminiscing, taking part namaste or simply enjoying each other's company, every smile and conversation makes a difference .
We are proud to create a warm and supportive environment where our residents feel valued, included and connected .

🌟A lovely refreshing visit from Day centre today !
Everyone worked together to make colourful fruit skewers 🍌🍋‍🟩🍋‍🟩🍉🍇🍓 to help encourage hydration during these warmer days.
Once finished they went kindly, delivered them around to both staff and residents, spreading smiles along the way ❤️
A wonderful activity full of teamwork, creativity and kindness -well done everyone ❤️

A huge Thank youto all our lovely family and friends who joined us for our Bank Holiday fun in the sun 🌞
Another fantastic afternoon filled with laughter 😃, singing, bingo and a quiz.
It was wonderful seeing everyone enjoying themselves and making more special memories together ❤️

A wonderful example of our Whole Home Approach in action at Elizabeth Lodge 💙
Sheila has been enjoying time working alongside the reception team, helping Kerry to welcome visitors and support the day-today activities within the home.
Providing meaningful roles and opportunities helps promote confidence, independence, purpose and social connection. It has been lovely to see Sheila take pride in being part of the Lizzie Lodge team and contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere in put home 🌟
