The team provides personalised residential, nursing and respite care for older people, including those living with dementia. The team works together with families to get to know each resident, meaning they can create a personalised care and lifestyle plan that's tailored

to their unique needs, interests and choices. The home has spacious, furnished bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Residents are welcome to enjoy the various lounge areas, the in-house cinema room and hair and beauty salon. Outside there are beautiful, landscaped gardens to enjoy.

A Taste of Home
Join us at Elizabeth Lodge tomorrow Friday 7th August from 3-5pm for A Taste of Home - well loved dishes from the home's menu and delightful meals and desserts from around the world. Traditional recipes with beloved memories from residents & relatives, the home's menu and colleagues' traditional taste of home will be shared.

What an absolutely amazing day at Lizzie Lodge sports day 🎖
The day was filled with fun, laughter, and so many happy memories. From the classic egg and spoon race to the one legged race and our fantastic wheelchair race, everyone got involved and showed incredible enthusiasm and team spirit.
It was wonderful to see the residents, colleagues, families and members of the community coming together to celebrate, cheer each other on and enjoy the day 💙
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, took part and helped make the day such a fantastic success. Your support, energy, and encouragement made it a truly special event .
We can't wait to do it all again next year 🤣

We enjoyed a wonderful session in the garden, surrounded by beautiful scenery, fresh air, and sunshine 🌻 🌿
Some of the residents found comfort and joy through doll therapy, spending meaningful time cuddling, hand-washing clothes, bathing their dolls, and caring for them with such love, and purpose. Others simply enjoyed being outdoors, chatting , and connecting with one another.
These activities encourage meaningful engagements, evoke treasured memories, promote sense of purpose, and provide comfort, and emotional well-being. It was heartwarming to see so many smiles, gentle interactions, and special moments shared together.

We are so lucky to be able to have an amazing garden 🌼and we've been making the most of it with a good old kareoke 🎶and fun in the sun ☀️

Around the world in one afternoon
The residents enjoyed exploring different counties using Virtual Reality. It was wonderful to see many smiles as they revisited their favourite places, discovered new destinations, and shared happy memories.
Virtual Reality helps stimulate memories, encourage conversations, and bring joy through new experiences.
A lovely afternoon full of laughter, reminiscence, and adventure.
