I’ve received a bunch of bad reviews for my new tiramisu shop and it’s entirely my fault 😬

When I set out to build this shop, one thing I wanted to make sure of was that anyone could walk in and order a tiramisu without any judgement or expectations. I wanted it to be seen as tiramisu, not vegan tiramisu.

But that meant I didn’t set expectations properly. This isn’t the tiramisu you’d get in italy, it’s one I’ve built completely from scratch. So if a passer by comes in expecting the classic, traditional tiramisu, it’s going to taste and feel slightly different.

We’ve taken on a lot of the recurring feedback, and our chocolate hazelnut flavour is now getting its own chocolate biscuit. And we’re working hard to make a classic tiramisu with a more neutral sponge finger too.

I’m not hiding away from any of these reviews. And every piece of constructive feedback today is going straight into what we serve tomorrow.

If you came in those first few weeks and it wasn’t for you, come back. I’d genuinely love the chance to show you what’s changed.

finishing touches done for by the talented .art !

I reached out to Ella for some custom canvas paintings for the shop and let her run with it, i just said i wanted to bring nonna into it somehow and an Italain vibe, and she smashed it. She normally just paints animals but did an incredible job for the shop and has recently gone full freelance with her artwork so go book her before she fills up! 🤣
