Three children. Two mums. One incredible journey 🌈

This Pride Month, we’re sharing Rachel and Miriam’s story. From their first conversation about starting a family to welcoming three children through reciprocal IVF, nothing about their journey was straightforward.

Failed cycles, switching clinics, the intensity of both partners going through treatment at the same time, and the surprise of twins. But through it all, they never gave up.

Stop! Wait a minute 🔬

Before this embryo goes anywhere, let’s take a closer look at what we’re actually seeing.

By day 5, a healthy blastocyst has two key structures. The inner cell mass, which goes on to become the baby, and the trophectoderm, the outer layer that becomes the placenta.

Our embryologists assess both when selecting the best embryo for transfer. Every detail matters.

Trying to conceive? These are worth knowing about 👇

😴 Skipping sleep. Your hormones do a lot of their work while you rest. Consistently getting less than 7–8 hours can disrupt the balance your body needs to ovulate and conceive.

🍽️ Crash dieting. It might seem unrelated but extreme calorie restriction can throw your hormones off and even stop ovulation altogether. Your body needs fuel and stability.

🚬 Smoking. It’s linked to reduced egg quality in women and lower s***m count in men. If you’re trying to conceive, this is one of the most impactful changes you can make.

🍷 Drinking excessively. Even moderate alcohol intake can affect fertility for both men and women. Cutting back gives your body the best possible chance.

Choosing a fertility clinic? Ask these first 👇

Not all clinics operate the same way, and the differences can have a real impact on your experience and your chances of success.

These 5 questions will help you understand exactly what you’re signing up for before you commit.

Save this for when you need it.
