I began studying hypnotherapy several years ago, but became fascinated by it when, after 20 years of failed dieting, I visited a hypnotherapist myself. Although I had always known that cheating on a diet would sabotage my results I had continued to do just that. Quick fix diets; followed by it all seeming pointless and a feeling of complete failure when I couldn’t stick to any of them had become a

way of life. There was not a slimming club, a powder substitute diet or a food combining diet I had not tried – and failed with. Hypnotherapy, followed by hypnoanalysis, caused a complete shift in my thinking that enabled me to lose weight safely and regularly – I am half way to where I need to be and this time I know it’s for good. Hypnotherapy is not a magic wand to make the pounds shift on their own – but if you constantly break your diet, despite your desire to be slimmer and healthier, then hypnotherapy or hypnoanalysis may be the answer for you. I am an advanced hypnoanalyst and I’m registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council, which is supported by the Department of Health. My Professional Governing Body is

I was trained at the internationally renowned Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis along with students from across Europe who travelled many miles to receive the high standard of training that they offer. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

From January 2014 I will be moving back to my native North East after 25 years in London.

Thank you to my lovely clients and to the directors and staff of The Garden Pharmacy who have given me so much support.
I am still taking appointments for things that need a short term therapy so you will still have time to book.

I am opening my new practice, Saltburn Hypnotherapy, in late January.

Make sure your therapist is registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council - it's as close to regulation as you can get in the UK.
