In the NYT this week an article centres on the interstitium. Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners would recognise this as the San Jiao in ways that are difficult to dismiss as coincidence.
What fascinated me is that researchers injected a fluorescent dye into an acupuncture point on the forearm and watched it migrate under real-time imaging — not randomly, but along a defined path that reappeared at another acupuncture point precisely along a traditional meridian. This animation is worth a look.
