Harold White Funeral Directors is an independent family business that has been supporting families in the East London and Essex communities since 1888. For over 130 years, our experienced and compassionate team have been arranging many different types of funeral from our three funeral homes in South Chingford, Buckhurst Hill and Walthamstow. We continue to provide the stunning horse-drawn funerals

that originally earned our reputation but today we can also offer alternative celebrations, direct cremations and eco-funerals alongside our traditional services. We welcome all faiths and no matter what your beliefs are, we can guide you through the various ways to personalise a service and create a truly meaningful tribute for your loved one. Last week saw us at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Wanstead for the funeral of John Francis Worsley. For over 40 years, John made the 20+ mile journey across London every day to work as a hairdresser in Wanstead. More than 150 people came to pay their respects, a beautiful reflection of the impact he had on so many lives. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine and blue skies for the service. Rest in peace, John.
