We only have one planet and it’s being exploited. The fishing industry produces most of the world’s Omega-3 and is causing unimaginable destruction to ocean wildlife, which will also affect future generations. The scale of this damage is overwhelming and people feel powerless about what they can do. At Omvits we produce the most pure, cruelty free and sustainable alternative to fish oil by using Algae, which is the natural source of Omega-3 in the ocean. Our products deliver all the benefits of fish oil, without the fish. We believe Algae is the future of Omega-3, making it possible for us to protect and restore life in our oceans. When we align with nature, we regain the power to make a difference. Every choice we make impacts our future, so let’s make good ones.

it’s hard to recover from stress in the environment where we experience stress. ever wonder why a week off just doesn’t feel like it’s enough?

sometimes we don’t need a holiday, we need a mini-adventure to freshen things up.

single-track roads. massive landscapes. idyllic villages. time to explore without looking at the clock. wandering with no agenda.

a nervous system stuck in the same four walls doesn’t reset, it needs space to come down, regulate and feel safe.

here’s some inspiring UK road trips to get your mind off things and recharge.

save this one for later.

The UK isn’t built for heat like this. And a lot of what feels instinctively right when it’s this hot is actually getting in the way.

Five things we’ve quietly stopped doing over the past few summers. Nothing dramatic, just small shifts that make a real difference when the temperature climbs.
Save this one. You’ll want it before the next heatwave.

You might be wearing SPF 50 every day… but that doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting complete UV protection.

Here’s why 👇

SPF only measures how well a sunscreen protects against UVB rays (the ones that cause sunburn). It doesn’t tell you how much protection you’re getting from UVA rays, which pe*****te deeper into the skin and contribute to premature ageing, pigmentation and can also increase skin cancer risk.

That’s why it’s important to look beyond the SPF number and choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with strong UVA protection too.

Your skin deserves protection from both.

We always assumed vitamin D deficiency was something that happened to older people, or people who were already unwell.

Turns out 18–29 year olds are the most deficient age group in the UK. Not because of anything we’re doing wrong just because modern life doesn’t put us in the sun the way it used to. Working from home, studying, commuting underground, evenings spent inside.

The tricky part is that low vitamin D doesn’t feel like a vitamin deficiency. It feels like low mood, tiredness sleep doesn’t fix, getting ill more than seems normal. It feels like life.

A blood test is the easiest place to start. And if levels are low, our Vitamin D (4000IU) is one way we’ve found to support that alongside getting outside when we can.

We used to think calm was something we’d arrive at. Clear the inbox, finish the to-do list, get to the holiday, and then — calm.

It doesn’t really work like that.

Calm is a signal. It’s what happens when our nervous system decides it’s safe to stop scanning for threat — and that signal rarely shows up on cue. It arrives quietly, usually while we’re doing something else entirely.

Most of us have spent decades training ourselves to override it. We’re not trying to undo that. We’re just trying to notice it happening again.

By March, most of us in the UK are running on the last of what we stored from the previous summer.
We blame work. The weather. Not sleeping enough.
But the body keeps its own calendar — and it doesn’t care that the sun is finally out.

Vitamin D deficits build over months. They don’t resolve in a few sunny days.

It’s why we made what we made.

Our grandparents didn’t have a wellness routine. They just had a life that wasn’t running against their biology.

Somewhere between then and now, we started needing apps to tell us what they knew instinctively. We’re not sure that’s progress.

We’re not saying go back. We’re saying some of what they knew is worth bringing forward.

Slowmaxxing went viral.

We’ve been sitting with that for a while because the instinct behind it — less noise, less performance, less reaching — that part feels right to us. It’s just that turning slow into a strategy is still a strategy.

What we keep coming back to is simpler than that. Not a practice. Not a protocol. Just the ability to notice what’s already here before adding something else.

That’s what we’re building toward slowly.

Our body is running software that hasn’t been updated in 300,000 years.
The world it was built for looked nothing like this.
No feeds. No notifications. No 24-hour news cycle telling us everything that’s wrong, everywhere, all at once.

We started paying attention to that gap. Between what our nervous system was built for and what we’re asking it to handle every day.

That’s what these three images are about. Swipe through. Save it. Come back to it.
