You don’t need to train like a professional athlete...

But it helps if you THINK like one

Most of my clients have full-time jobs, kids, long commutes and busy lives.

They don’t have 4 hours a day to train

What they do have is a plan:

✔️ Scheduled sessions
✔️ Training with purpose
✔️ Prioritising recovery
✔️ Staying consistent

That’s what gets results!

Listen to this weeks pod to see how you can train like a pro and keep your full time job!

Deloading doesn’t mean doing nothing!

Given we’re well into summer sport competitions on this weeks pod I’m explaining how to taper properly before competition so you arrive feeling fresh, fast and ready to perform.

And why the final week isn’t about building fitness, but all about reducing fatigue while staying sharp.

In this episode:

→ What a proper deload looks like
→ Common tapering mistakes
→ How to stay sharp without overtraining
→ Sleep, nutrition and recovery tips
→ Managing competition nerves
→ How to perform at your best on game day

"My mobility is fine.”

I hear this all the time.

Then I ask someone to sit in a deep squat for 60 seconds. Heels flat. Chest tall. All the way down.

Suddenly, it’s not fine.

Poor mobility doesn’t just feel uncomfortable. It limits how you move, how you load, and how much power you produce in sport.

This position tests three things:

Ankles: heels lifting means you can’t load properly.
Hips: back rounding means restricted range and limited power.
Thoracic: chest collapsing means your upper back is too stiff to support movement.

Here’s where to start:

Elevate your heels on a plate.
Find the position. Hold 20 seconds. Build to 60.
Then take the elevation away.
