We had a brilliant music session at St David's Care Home with Camilo, who brought along his guitar and got everyone singing along to some much loved old favourites 🎶💜

Our wonderful residents picked up instruments and joined in, while our lively team were dancing and singing too. There was plenty of laughter, and it was clear everyone was having a great time!

Camilo even took the time to visit some of our residents in their rooms, which was such a lovely touch. Safe to say, we’ve already been asked when he’s coming back! 🎸😊

🐶💜 Happy National Dog Day from St David's Care Home !

We had a lovely Dog Therapy Day in our activity room, with family members bringing along their beautiful, well behaved dogs to meet our wonderful residents. There were lots of gentle cuddles, fuss and happy faces as everyone got to know our four legged visitors 🐾

A big thank you to all the family members who brought their dogs along and helped make the afternoon so special. It really meant a lot to us all 💜

Pets As Therapy Crufts

We had a lovely Monday morning at St David's Care Home , with music, morning tea and plenty of good conversation 🎶☕️

Camilo spent time visiting residents in their rooms, playing his guitar and singing for them. Everyone really enjoyed his music and loved listening to his voice. We then enjoyed some morning tea and scones together while listening to a little classical music.

A lovely, relaxed morning with good company, favourite tunes and a tasty scone or two 💜

We brought a little taste of Hawaii to St David’s for our summer BBQ, and what a day it turned out to be ☀️🌺

Our garden was full of friendly faces as residents spent time with their loved ones, enjoying good food, music and plenty of laughter. The staff even surprised everyone with a dance, and before long a few family members couldn’t resist joining in too 💜

With two brilliant entertainers keeping the party going, there was always something to tap along to. It was one of those days where everyone just relaxed and enjoyed being together, and we’re still smiling thinking about it 😊

We enjoyed a refreshing treat at St David's Care Home as we celebrated National Watermelon Day 🍉💜

Our wondeful residents enjoyed juicy slices of watermelon together in the Activities Room, sharing chats, smiles and a little taste of summer. We also made sure to take some around the home so residents relaxing in their rooms could join in too 😊

It was a simple but lovely way to spend time together, proving that sometimes the smallest treats can bring the biggest smiles 🍉

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

Friendship was at the heart of the day at St David's Care Home as we celebrated International Day of Friendship together💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed making and exchanging friendship bracelets before gathering for a lovely tea party filled with delicious cakes, jam tarts and plenty of conversation. The celebrations continued with a fantastic live performance from Juan at Active Minds & Hearts, with everyone singing along to much loved songs about love and friendship🎶

It was a wonderful day spent together, celebrating the friendships that make our home such a special place. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable 😊

🎨🦋 Summer creativity at St David's Care Home !

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon taking part in a butterfly dot-art workshop, using colourful paints and dot sponge stamps to create beautiful artwork.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, sharing stories, chatting and enjoying time together. Having family members join in made the session even more special, creating a lovely afternoon of creativity and connection 💜

🎂💜 Happy Birthday, Dragica!

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wonderful resident Dragica’s special day at St David's Care Home with her friends, family and our team.

Dragica enjoyed her favourite chocolate cake, specially made by our chef, and loved the birthday decorations in her private room. There were plenty of smiles and laughter as she blew out all her candles in one go! 🎉

Our wonderful residents at St David's Care Home enjoyed a lovely day out in Richmond Park this week. Joined by family members, carers and our activities team, we were lucky enough to spot the beautiful deer from the comfort of the coach 🦌💜

We then stopped at Pembroke Lodge for lunch, taking in the stunning views while enjoying good food and even better company. It was a wonderful chance to spend time together, share plenty of chats and make some lovely memories along the way 😊
