Before a treatment reaches your local pharmacy, it goes through years of careful research. Clinical trials are where that research meets real people, and every step forward depends on the volunteers who take part. Clinical Trials Day marks the anniversary of one of the earliest controlled trials, carried out by naval surgeon James Lind in 1747. At Parexel London, we carry that spirit forward every day in our Harrow clinic. Today, we recognise everyone who has contributed to that journey.

It takes many years to develop the medicines that people need right now – but you can start changing lives today, just by taking part. That’s because every participant in a clinical trial at Parexel helps make medical breakthroughs happen faster.
