Planning IVF in January, February or later? Whether you’ve got a date or you’re still on the waitlist, your preparation needs to start NOW, to give you the best chance of success.

Here’s what I’d want you looking at in the months before:

Your bloods: what’s been tested, what hasn’t, and how recent the results are.

What you’re taking and why, and whether your results support it.

Nutrition, sleep, stress and alcohol: the parts you can influence

Anything your clinic hasn’t asked about, like migraines, joint pain or fatigue

What your clinic plans to do, so everyone is aligned.

I’ve recorded everything you need to know before you start, and it’s free. DM me REPLAY and I’ll send it over.

Follow along for more on IVF and nutrition.

If you spend the day thinking about food, this is the first thing I’d try.

Food noise is exhausting. The constant negotiating, the “should I, shouldn’t I”, planning your next bite while you’re still eating.

What’s helped my clients most isn’t a stricter plan. It’s fewer decisions.

Three proper meals, big enough that you’re genuinely satisfied, and no grazing in between. Having some kind of structure and repeating meals helps too.

That leaves far fewer moments in the day for hunger and willpower to fight it out.

I see it help a lot of my clients, especially those with PCOS or endometriosis.

Does this sound familiar? Tell me in the comments, or send it to a friend who’s always thinking about food.

A failed cycle is a brutal blow, and if you’ve experienced that, I’m sorry 💕

Before you book the next one, make sure nothing obvious was left unchecked:

Your bloods: what was tested, what wasn’t, and how old the results are. You’d be surprised at how often even the basic bloods are getting missed.

Your clinic reports: where things dropped off. This tells me a huge amount about where to focus efforts.

What you supplements you were taking, whether your results support it.

The months before: what you can influence: diet, stress, movement, sleep

Your overall health: the things you’ve learned to live with (we can’t make babies from body’s that are busy fighting other things).

What your clinic plans to change: protocol, timing, testing.

The question isn’t ‘why didn’t this work?’ It’s ‘what do we do differently next time?’

Save this for before your next cycle and send it to someone who needs it.

If your cycle didn’t work, this is where I’d start.

A first cycle often ends up being the test run. How you respond, how the eggs fertilise, how the embryos develop. You only find out afterwards, and I hate that.

So after a cycle I look at what actually happened, and what’s in your hands: the protocol, your bloods, partner or s***m testing, what you’re taking, and your diet and lifestyle.

But the biggest clue is where the cycle dropped off. Poor response? Good response but poor fertilisation? Good fertilisation but poor development? Or a bit of all three? That tells me where to focus.

Want to know where to look before your next cycle? DM me READY and let’s make sure the same mistakes aren’t repeated.

Save this for your review appointment.

If you’re starting IVF or egg freezing, watch this before you do anything else.

I’ve recorded everything I want you to know before you start: the 90-day window, how much of this you can actually influence, and what no one tells you at the clinic. It’s what I’ve shared with the hundreds of women I’ve worked with.

It’s free, and you have nothing to lose.

DM me REPLAY and I’ll send it straight to you.

If you’ve ever been told your pain is “just a heavy period”, watch this.

Three of my clients now have deep infiltrating endometriosis and needed complex surgery. All because they went years without being listened to. They were told it was part of periods, stress, anxiety, bad periods, or to come back when they were ready for a baby.

Endo is progressive. Meaning it will continue to worsen if it’s not being managed.

If something feels wrong, keep pushing until someone listens. Send this to a woman who needs to hear it.

Why does no one tell this you this before you start IVF?

That the 90 days before collection matter. The right tests can make or break your cycle. That the IVF funnel is real, and there are drop off points of each stage of the IVF process.

That you have a HUGE influence over the success of your cycle.

I put everything I know into one free session, and you need to watch it. DM me REPLAY and I’ll send it over.

Should you have a laparoscopy before IVF?
It’s tricky and absolutely needs a conversation with your clinical team and endometriosis specialist (I highly recommend Dr Colin Davis, Dr Amer Raza and Dr Richard Flint).

The decision will depend on your current symptoms, how your endometriosis might be impacting your IVF success, and any potential negative impact of having the surgery.

To anyone starting IVF: I’m sorry you’re here. 💕

It’s the first thing I say to every new client. Nobody wants to need me, and I understand that completely.

IVF asks a lot of you. The appointments, the injections, the waiting, the decisions, and the way it can take over everything else.

That’s why I see my job as looking after you, not just your numbers. Nutrition is part of it, but so is having someone in your corner who’s seen this before.

If you’re at the start, and scared of what’s to come, I can help.
along, and my DMs are open if you want to talk.

Told to “just lose weight” with PCOS/PMOS, and nobody told you how?

Here’s where I start with my clients. 5 simple things, in this order: three proper meals, eating the right things so you’re genuinely full, repeating the same handful of meals, setting up your environment so the easy choice is the right one, moving a little every day, and protecting your sleep.

PCOS/PMOS makes this harder by design, so if it hasn’t worked before, it’s not a willpower problem. It’s that nobody gave you a plan built for your condition.

You don’t need to do all at once. Pick one this week.

Save this, and send it to someone with PCOS who’s been told to lose weight and left to work it out alone.
