👃 Rhinoplasty performed by Mr Mohiemen Anwar, Consultant ENT Surgeon at Cadogan Clinic.

Every rhinoplasty begins with a detailed assessment of the patient’s nasal anatomy, skin quality and underlying nasal framework. Careful surgical planning helps ensure the nose remains structurally supported while achieving a result that is suitable for the individual’s facial proportions.

Depending on the patient’s anatomy and treatment goals, rhinoplasty may involve reshaping the nasal framework and, where appropriate, strengthening structural support while refining the profile to create a stable, long-term result.

For this patient, the surgical plan focused on reducing the dorsal hump, refining the nasal tip and creating improved balance with the surrounding facial features.

These before and after photographs demonstrate a smoother nasal profile, improved nasal proportions and a refined tip while preserving the patient’s individual features.

If you are considering rhinoplasty, our specialist surgical advisors can arrange a consultation with Mr Mohiemen Anwar to discuss your treatment goals and whether surgery may be suitable for you.

👁️ Upper blepharoplasty performed by Mr Sukhpreet Singh Dubb, Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at Cadogan Clinic.

As we age, excess skin of the upper eyelids can gradually develop as the skin loses elasticity. For some patients, this can create a feeling of heaviness around the eyes, make eye make-up more difficult to apply and, in some cases, contribute to obstruction of the upper visual field.

Following a detailed assessment, Mr Dubb developed a personalised surgical plan to remove excess upper eyelid skin while preserving the natural contours of the eyelids and maintaining normal eyelid function.

These before and after photographs demonstrate an improvement in the upper eyelid contour, reducing excess skin and creating a lighter, more open appearance around the eyes while maintaining natural facial harmony.

Upper blepharoplasty is tailored to each individual, taking into account eyelid anatomy, skin quality and the patient’s functional concerns and treatment goals.

If you are experiencing heavy upper eyelids or feel excess skin is affecting your comfort or vision, our specialist surgical advisors can arrange a consultation with Mr Sukhpreet Singh Dubb to discuss whether upper blepharoplasty may be suitable for you.

🍃 August is Psoriasis Awareness Month.

Psoriasis is a long-term inflammatory skin condition linked to an overactive immune response, which causes skin cells to renew much faster than usual. This leads to a build-up of cells on the skin’s surface, creating raised, scaly patches that may feel itchy, sore or uncomfortable and, for some people, can affect everyday activities and quality of life.

Psoriasis can appear anywhere on the body but commonly affects the scalp, elbows, knees and lower back. It may also affect the nails and, for some people, can be associated with joint pain and stiffness. The condition is not contagious, and its severity can vary considerably from person to person.

Treatment depends on the type, location and severity of the psoriasis. Options may include prescribed creams and ointments, controlled light therapy, oral medication or injectable biologic treatments for more extensive or persistent cases. A dermatologist can assess your skin and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. ✨

If you are experiencing persistent scaling, inflammation, itching, joint pain or changes to your nails, our specialist dermatology team can assess your symptoms and advise on the most suitable treatment options.

These before and after photographs demonstrate restored breast volume, improved upper pole fullness and breast proportions that are better balanced with the patient’s frame.

💬 Meet our lovely patient, Amena, who is now 6 weeks post-op following her Brazilian abdominoplasty with Ms Lara De Luca, Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Cadogan Clinic.

Following two pregnancies, Amena developed diastasis recti, a condition where the abdominal muscles separate as the connective tissue running down the centre of the abdomen becomes stretched.

For some patients, diastasis recti can reduce abdominal wall support and contribute to a persistent central bulge, core weakness and discomfort during everyday movement. A Brazilian abdominoplasty can be used to repair the separated muscles, remove excess skin and restore support to the abdominal wall.

Following a detailed consultation, Ms De Luca developed a personalised surgical plan to address Amena’s diastasis recti and excess abdominal skin while improving the overall balance and contour of the abdomen.

Now at her 6-week follow-up, Amena is recovering well and was delighted to share her experience with us. She spoke about feeling more comfortable during everyday activities, finding that her clothes fit better and feeling more confident in herself.

We are so pleased that Amena had a positive experience with Ms De Luca and the wider Cadogan Clinic team, and we are grateful to her for allowing us to share her journey.

🎥 Watch the full reel to hear Amena reflect on her experience in her own words.

If you are experiencing concerns following pregnancy, including symptoms of diastasis recti or excess abdominal skin, our specialist surgical advisors can arrange a consultation with Ms Lara De Luca to discuss whether abdominoplasty may be suitable for you.

👃 Septorhinoplasty performed by Mr Annakan Navaratnam, Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon at Cadogan Clinic.

This patient presented with the long-term effects of childhood nasal trauma, resulting in deviation of the lower two-thirds of the nose to the left and a nasal septal deviation to the right.

She experienced persistent nasal obstruction and felt she had increasingly relied on mouth breathing, particularly due to reduced airflow through the left side of the nose.

Following a detailed assessment, Mr Navaratnam developed a surgical plan to correct the septal deviation, improve nasal airflow and restore structural alignment of the nose. Alongside these functional objectives, the procedure also aimed to straighten the nose, reduce the dorsal hump, refine the nasal tip and achieve a subtle increase in tip rotation.

Septorhinoplasty was performed to improve the internal nasal framework and nasal function, while also addressing the external shape of the nose. By correcting the septal deviation and realigning the nasal structures, the surgery was designed to improve breathing while creating better facial balance and proportion.

These before and after photographs demonstrate the patient’s post-operative result, showing improved alignment, a straighter nasal profile and a refined nasal tip in better balance with her facial features.

If you experience persistent nasal blockage or have concerns following previous nasal trauma, a specialist assessment with Mr Annakan Navaratnam can help establish the cause and determine whether septorhinoplasty may be suitable.

👂 Ear reduction surgery performed live in theatre by Mr Manaf Khatib, Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Cadogan Clinic.

This 56-year-old patient presented with macrotia, meaning the external ear was larger than average, measuring approximately 80mm.

For some patients, larger or more prominent ears can cause practical discomfort when wearing glasses, helmets or headphones, as well as irritation or pressure during everyday activities. Ear reduction surgery is designed to reduce the size of the external ear while preserving its natural structure and function.

Following a detailed assessment, Mr Khatib developed a surgical plan to reduce the ear size and create proportions that felt more balanced with the patient’s facial features.

The procedure was performed under local anaesthetic. During surgery, Mr Khatib was able to show the patient the early result so he could see the change and confirm that he was happy before the procedure was completed.

At the end of surgery, the ear measured approximately 64mm, reduced from 80mm. The reel concludes with the immediate post-operative result; however, this is not the final outcome, as swelling and healing will continue over the coming weeks.

The patient was delighted with the early result and shared that he had not previously realised this procedure was available. At 56, he said he would have considered it sooner had he known.

We are grateful to him for allowing us to capture and share his experience, and we look forward to showing his 6-week post-operative results.

🎥 Watch the full reel to follow the case from before surgery through to the immediate result.

Remember the essentials:

☀️ Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day
🕶️ Reapply every two hours, as well as after swimming or sweating

🔍 Check your skin regularly and seek medical advice if you notice a new or changing mole.

If you have any concerns about a new, changing or unusual skin lesion, our specialist dermatology team can assess your skin and advise whether further investigation or treatment may be suitable.
