Our 6-hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is ideal for anyone caring for babies and children.

Need the full qualification? This course can be upgraded to the 12-hour Blended Paediatric First Aid course to meet EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Every parent, grandparent and carer hopes they’ll never need First Aid…

But if the unthinkable happens, knowing what to do in those first few moments can make all the difference.

If a baby under 1 year is choking, the Resuscitation Council UK advises:
• Give up to 5 back blows between the shoulder blades with the heel of your hand.
• If the blockage doesn’t clear, turn the baby over and give up to 5 chest thrusts using two fingers on the centre of the chest.
• Alternate 5 back blows and 5 chest thrusts until the obstruction clears or the baby becomes unresponsive.
• If the baby becomes unresponsive, call 999 (or ask someone else to call) and begin infant CPR.

Our “Essential Infant First Aid Course” (0-1 year), covers the practical skills every parent and carer should know, including:
• Choking
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
• Unconscious but breathing infant
• Unconscious and not breathing infant
• Infant CPR
• Burns and scalds

Courses can be held in your own home or at your chosen venue, making it easy to learn with family and friends in a relaxed environment.

It’s always better to know and not need it, than need it and not know it.

Empowering the next generation with life-saving skills 💚

We recently had the privilege of delivering emergency first aid training to Year 12 students at Channing School.

Throughout the sessions, students learned how to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies, including CPR, the use of a defibrillator, choking, unconscious casualties, and how to confidently take action when every second counts.

Our aim is always to make first aid education engaging, practical and memorable. Through interactive demonstrations, real-life scenarios, hands-on practice and plenty of discussion, students developed the confidence and skills needed to step forward in an emergency.

We’re incredibly grateful to G Raine, Director of Sixth Form, for sharing such wonderful feedback and for giving us the opportunity to work with such engaged and enthusiastic students.

My sister and I recently completed a Paediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support course with Angela and cannot recommend her highly enough.

She was so warm, kind and she created a very welcoming environment.

The course was extremely comprehensive, covering a wide range of scenarios with real-life examples that made everything easy to understand and remember.

Angela explained things clearly, took the time to answer every question, and made sure everyone we both felt confident and supported throughout.

We never felt rushed or worried about asking questions, no matter how small.

An extremely informative, engaging and comprehensive course, we would highly recommend Angela to anyone looking for amazing first aid training, whether that is parents/carers, anyone working with children, employers or employees.
