Fate is like a conversation between who we are now and the deeper intelligence inside us - Jung called it “The Higher Self”.

We think of fate as if it’s some distant script written in a room we can’t enter. But in fact, all the time, it offers a piece of candy, and waits to show what you already know you’re going to do.

Destiny doesn’t arrive fully formed. It arrives in micro-choices you’ve been making while telling yourself you were “waiting for a sign, but guidance sometimes arrives as a gesture that exposes your own choice.

When you recognise the moment you stop pretending you don’t know…. these are the Matrix moments of life.You’re not waiting for a fate. You’re waiting for yourself.

When you are sad, you cry.
If you’re angry, you fight.
The emotion is discharged with physical action.

But what happens if the emotion gets stuck? Strangled.

The fire does not come out. It burns, smoke fills the room, the hallway, collapses and the smoke finally leaks out of a pantry window.

A morbid symptom is just emotional energy coming out of the wrong place”⁠

April 2023. Who were you then? What was taken from you? The challenge with periods of loss is that we rarely perceive them as gateways or new beginnings. Now think of October 23 — some of the same themes resurfaced then. October aimed to prepare you for the trials leading up to this moment. What occurred around that time directly ties to what’s happening this month.

In the Tale “The Handless Maiden” the maiden’s father makes a poor bargain with the Devil. He thought he was trading his apple tree for wealth, but instead he finds he has given his daughter to the Devil.

In archetypal psychology, we take all the elements of a fairy tale to be descriptions of the aspects in our psyche. So, in this tale, we must ask ourselves here at the beginning, “What poor bargain we often make?”

The poorest bargain of our lives is the one we make when we forfeit our deep knowing life for one that is far more frail; when we give up our teeth, our claws, our sense, our scent; when we surrender our wilder natures for a promise of something that seems rich but turns out to be hollow instead.

The making of this awful bargain is a matter of enormous and meaningful paradox. Even though choosing poorly could be seen as a pathologically self-destructive act, it far more often turns into a watershed event that brings vast opportunity to redevelop the power of the instinctive nature.

This is the state of the daughter in the tale. Her metamorphosis has no metabolism.
The initiation into this kind of knowing is the initiation that none of us wants, even though it is the one all of us, sooner or later, receive.

So many tales- Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard, Reynard the Fox, begin with the father endangering the daughter. But, in a woman’s psyche, the horrible moment marks a dramatic beginning for her, a forthcoming consciousness and shrewdness. No sentient being in this world is allowed to remain innocent forever.

To learn this language, you don’t have to believe in “magic”.
You don’t need to want to become a reader.
You don’t need to walk barefoot, eat sunlight and post pictures of crystals in your bra.
You don’t have to be “A Mystic”, to believe in *””Healers”””, in “Psychics”.
I don’t.

Understanding this language is learning how to speak back to the Universe. Images on a Card are a Physical Space where the language manifests. By engaging with tarot cards, individuals may access intuitive insights, uncover hidden aspects of their psyche, and gain a symbolic language to articulate personal experiences. The archetypal imagery in tarot can serve as a mirror for one’s inner world, promoting self-discovery, mindfulness, and a deeper understanding of life’s challenges and opportunities.

All you need,
Is to be curious about life and its mysteries.

Everyone can benefit from learning Tarot: Artists, Musicians, Writers, and anyone from any area! Everyone has a different talent, and a different “accent”, to speak this language.

Life is like a dance with energy, emotions, connections, solitude, and desires going through cycles of ups and downs. Not understanding this dance of life and death within life, may lead someone, during quieter times, to express the need for new experiences in unhealthy ways like risking too much, pursuing not authentic dreams, and pursuing new relationships. This is not a wise approach.

Initially, we tend to believe we can avoid the challenging aspects of life, but we can’t escape them. We must learn to let go of things that no longer serve us, including outdated values and attitudes. Examining long-held beliefs that make life overly safe and overprotected is crucial because they hinder our growth.

Staying in a too-safe and comfortable mindset, or too “nice and safe” situations in life, prevents us from facing challenges and hinders our development. We need to set goals that require us to take risks, as it is through this process that our strengths emerge.

However, many of us are afraid to let go of the comfortable aspects of life, even when we know it’s time. Our minds may convince us that facing challenges is a waste of energy. These thoughts are the voices of our protective instincts, which, while intending to keep us safe, also keep us from reaching our full potential.
