Earlier this week, we welcomed engaged attendees to Tinnitus Uncovered, our first tinnitus event in partnership with Neuromod.

Clinical Lead Mr Jordon Thompson shared insights into tinnitus and current management approaches, followed by Dr Ross O’Neill, Founder & CEO of Neuromod, who introduced Lenire and the latest clinical data.

The evening included a Q&A with one of our patients, who shared their experience with Lenire, plenty of thoughtful questions, networking and a Lenire device demonstration.

For the third year running, our audiologist Fiona Butterworth recently delivered a hearing health session to students at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

With around 100 students in attendance, the session covered practical ways musicians can protect their hearing - from the importance of regular hearing tests and consistently using existing hearing protection, to the benefits of upgrading to custom-made protection.

The session received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with students highlighting how useful and informative they found it.

We asked, “What would you tell others about this session?” - and their responses are a great reflection of the knowledge and expertise Fiona shared:

-“Knowing the importance of hearing health and learning the ways to protect against hearing damage is crucial for musicians.”

-“It was useful if you don’t know anything about hearing health or where to go when you have a problem.”

-“It was informative and helpful.”

Sessions like this are an important part of raising awareness among musicians and helping them feel more confident about protecting their hearing, so they can continue doing what they love and enjoying music for years to come.
