❤️Callum Lochhead memorial football tournament.

What a truly unbelievable day this was, extremely emotional and an unbelievable way to celebrate Callum. It was a real testimony to Callum’s character.

It was an unbelievably successful day with 26 teams playing and many spectators, everyone coming together for Callum, while spreading awareness about the reality of mental health. Raising over £1,250 for an amazing cause.

Big shout out to the buzzballers for winning the amateur category and the hammerheads for winning the Advanced group.

Once again thanks everyone for coming we will see you next year.

❤️ CALLUM LOCHHEAD MEMORIAL CHARITY TOURNAMENT ❤️

We’re incredibly proud to announce the Callum Lochhead Memorial 5-a-side Tournament taking place on:

📍 Jubilee Sports Grove 3G Pitches, University of Nottingham📅 June 5th
⏰ 11am to 3pm

The day will include:⚽️ 5-a-side football tournament🏀 Basketball competition🏆 Prizes for winners

Most importantly, it’s a day to come together, remember Callum and celebrate the amazing person he was.

All money raised on the day will go to Check In On A Mate (CIOAM), helping raise awareness for mental health and su***de prevention through sport ❤️

Big thank you to Chase Farm Retreats for having us down and for supporting our Check in on a Mate Fight Night back in December 🤍

We spent some time using the ice bath, sauna and whirlpool bath and it was a good reminder of how important it is to slow down and properly check in with the people around you.

Getting outside, away from busy routines and spending time in nature with your mates can have a massive impact on your mental wellbeing. Good conversations, fresh air and taking time to switch off are things we often do not make enough time for.

I’ve personally found contrast therapy and moving between hot and cold really helps me relax, unwind and reset mentally as much as physically. Sometimes it is not about big gestures, it is just about making space to connect, talk and be present with the people around you.
