Could you bring Check In On A Mate to your university? 🎓

We’re looking for students to become CIOAM Student Ambassadors for the 2026/27 academic year.

You don’t need to be a mental-health expert. We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who believe in our message and want to make a genuine difference on campus.

Working as part of a small university team, you’ll help to:

* Promote the CIOAM message and start conversations
* Connect with local schools and help organise CIOAM talks
* Establish a university run club
* Organise a fundraiser or community event
* Represent CIOAM and distribute merchandise

In return, you’ll receive:

* An official CIOAM Student Ambassador role
* CIOAM stash and merchandise
* Onboarding, resources and practical guidance
* Ongoing support from the CIOAM team
* Valuable leadership, outreach and events experience
* A community of ambassadors from other universities

This is an awareness and community role—you won’t be expected to act as a counsellor or mental-health professional.

Interested? DM us AMBASSADOR, along with your name, university, year of study and why you’d like to get involved.

❤️Callum Lochhead memorial football tournament.

What a truly unbelievable day this was, extremely emotional and an unbelievable way to celebrate Callum. It was a real testimony to Callum’s character.

It was an unbelievably successful day with 26 teams playing and many spectators, everyone coming together for Callum, while spreading awareness about the reality of mental health. Raising over ÂŁ1,250 for an amazing cause.

Big shout out to the buzzballers for winning the amateur category and the hammerheads for winning the Advanced group.

Once again thanks everyone for coming we will see you next year.

We’re incredibly proud to announce the Callum Lochhead Memorial 5-a-side Tournament taking place on:

📍 Jubilee Sports Grove 3G Pitches, University of Nottingham📅 June 5th
⏰ 11am to 3pm

The day will include:⚽️ 5-a-side football tournament🏀 Basketball competition🏆 Prizes for winners

Most importantly, it’s a day to come together, remember Callum and celebrate the amazing person he was.

All money raised on the day will go to Check In On A Mate (CIOAM), helping raise awareness for mental health and su***de prevention through sport ❤️
