When did you last have your blood pressure checked?
Most of us don't know our numbers, and that's a problem, because high blood pressure has no symptoms. You can feel completely fine and still be at risk.
"High blood pressure often produces no symptoms until serious damage occurs. Routine monitoring allows for early detection, which is crucial since uncontrolled high blood pressure can silently damage arteries, strain the heart, and increase the risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney disease which can lead to serious illness." โ Shahla, SMS Medical
You can get checked at a local pharmacy, at a community event, or with your GP.
A quick check could flag something important early, and early is always better. Check it, know it, act on it.
