An absoloutely beautiful tribute. A mother and her six children walked with the funeral cortege, together taking their beloved husband and father on his final journey. A moment filled with unimaginable sadness, love, strength and dignity.
It was heartbreaking to witness, yet so incredibly beautiful, a family united in love as they said their final goodbye.
It was a true honour and privilege to look after Philip. We will remember him, and the love surrounding him, always. 🕊❤️
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family. May they find strength in each other and comfort in the beautiful memories they shared.

The funeral industry needs regulating now! Families should never ever be left to wonder whether their loved ones are truly being treated with the dignity and the respect they deserve.
In this video Matthew discusses why he feels that 20 years in prison is not enough for Robert Bush - who pleaded guilty for a number of offences including the mishandling of deceased bodies and ashes, as well as misleading bereaved families. We are all extremely sad for the families that have suffered due to his actions.
Every bereaved family deserves the reassurance that their loved one is being cared for with professionalism, respect, and compassion. When those standards are not upheld, the damage to grieving families is immeasurable.
This is bigger than one individual, but please be assured there are many brilliant funeral directors that truly care, and continue to treat the deceased with compassion and care, as if they are a member of their own family.

A day that summed up life perfectly.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of looking after the funeral of my good friends Jim and James’s mum and grandmother Phyllis. A sad day, but a beautiful farewell surrounded by love.

It was also wonderful to meet the newest member of the family, baby Florence. A precious reminder that even in moments of loss, life continues with new beginnings.

What is quality of service?
To me, quality of service is about treating every family as though their loved one is the most precious person you’ll ever have the privilege to care for.
Every funeral is unique, every family is different, and every farewell deserves the same level of compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
We never stop learning. Not just from within the funeral profession, but from outstanding businesses in every industry. There is always something new to learn, a better way to serve, and another opportunity to improve.
