Shoulders get tight for many reasons.

Desk work, stress, training, posture, not moving enough, or moving too much.

Quite often it’s not one dramatic thing, just a few smaller things building up over time.

The hard part is normally working out what’s actually causing it.

If your shoulders constantly feel tight or uncomfortable, it’s probably worth getting it looked at.

A lot of people come in feeling frustrated, unsure what’s going on, or worried that they will have to put up with something.

So someone taking the time to share their experience, especially feeling listened to, cared for and genuinely improving, means a lot to us.

Thank you for trusting us with your care 💙

A lot of people feel fine… until they have a really busy week.

Longer hours, less movement, less sleep, eating on the go, sitting more than usual, can all add up.

Then suddenly everything feels tighter and heavier by Friday.

Our bodies notice busy periods just as much as the mind does.

Sometimes a short walk, moving a bit more, or properly switching off for just half an hour is enough to make a difference.

Many appointments don’t start with treatment.

They start with a patient explaining what’s been going on for the last six months while also saying “It’s probably nothing…”.

Usually followed by “It’s just started getting a bit annoying now.”

If that sounds familiar, we’re here if you want to get it looked at.

Knees get blamed for a lot.

Sometimes the issue is the knee itself, sometimes it’s something above or below it not doing its share.

That’s why random stretches or copying exercises online don’t always solve it.

Usually the first step is working out what’s actually driving it.

If yours keeps flaring up, it’s probably worth getting it looked at.

We hear a lot of people say that, not becuase it's bad, but because it's manageable.

So it gets pushed down the list, then another week goes by. And another.

Usually it's nothing to drastic, just something that’s always there in the background. Until one day it’s annoying enough that you actually do something about it.

If something’s been hanging around, we’re here if you want to get it looked at.

TCS London Marathon week is here!

At this stage, hopefully all the hard work has been done.

This week is about preparing to be at the start line feeling as fresh as possible, not trying to squeeze in one last big session.

Keep things moving, stay loose, prioritise sleep, and trust the training you’ve already done.

That usually goes a lot further than panicking this week.

It’s Chiropractic Awareness Week, and this year’s theme is the patient stories you never forget.

For us it's quite often someone who had been putting up with pain or niggles for longer than they needed to, assuming it was just something they had to live with.

Then, after the right assessment and treatment plan, they’re back moving comfortably and doing the things they love again.

We’re grateful to everyone who trusts us with their care and shares their experience with us.

A lot of people notice that niggles are often the same side.

The same shoulder. Same hip. Same side of the back, it’s not usually random.

But it can sometimes just be the way you move, sit, train, or load your body day to day.

One side ends up doing a bit more than the other.

Small things like switching sides, changing position more regularly, or adding a bit of movement usually help balance things out.

We see quite a few people with things that won't completely go away.

It might ease off for a bit, then come back again, such as plantar fasciitis, tendon pain, that kind of thing.

Shockwave is something we sometimes use in those situations.

It helps kickstart the body’s own healing response and can work really well for longer-standing issues.

It’s not for everything, but when it is the right fit, people often notice a difference pretty quickly.
